  • @parodycreator25.. Your teacher always knows best, follow his/her directions and you will be surprised at what difference it makes.

  • I'm 15 and I'm learning it. I also have a painting of a giraffe in my bathroom. There we go, two things that don't fucking matter in one comment!

  • my teacher got me stuck in this easy piece because he says my bow movements aren't "good" he interrupts in the first chords because I play the three chords left to right and he wants me to play one chord from left to right the other from right to left and the last one left to right. is that as important as he says? it's really frustrating to play the chords over and over again just because my bow movement aren't "good enough" even though my tuning and slurring and stacattos are almost excellent

  • @parodycreator25 Hi, I just think, your teacher wants you to practice that bowing (You can play it either way). The main thing with the chords is, the bass notes are played heavier with slow movement, the high notes lighter and faster. Whatever bow directions, it makes it sound good. Cheers G.

  • I'm 16 and I'm learning how to play this. Of course I've only been playing for 4 months so I think that's pretty good : ) Also have been playing french horn for 6 years and I love them both!

  • thanks for posting this it helps to have a nice version of the piece im practicing to listen to =)

  • @BenRikhoff

I watched your video of this, and there is no way in hell it sounds better than this.

Either way, dont watch this mans video and criticize him, hes playing because he loves it, not so little kids like you can bother him about it.

    @georgcello

It sounded beautiful too my ears, thank you.

  • I could care less of how old you were when you learned to play this, it's a beautiful piece, enjoy the music people.

  • How pathetic that most of the comments are so competive, "I can play this better" "this is so easy" "I learned this when I was 5" "I was in the womb when I first performed this".

I doubt anyone actually derives any joy from music who is always thinking like this.

  • @KAKAWANGWA Well said lol they sound like pretentious assholes. Beautiful music is beautiful music at any age. THIS GUY DEFINITELY ISN'T 15 OR YOUNGER, and he's enjoying it!

  • I am learning this song right now. I am completely obsessed with playing it, it is so much fun! :)

  • @BenRikhoff If you choose to go on in music (and given what I saw on your video, I wouldn't recommend it) prepare to be crucified. Learn some humility, and perhaps you will have a chance.

@georgcello What a joy to hear a nicely performed version of this simple beginner piece -- and played with such love.

  • im 12 oweeeeeo

  • @Cookiechic112 mee too.(:

  • Thumbs up if you aren't a conceited child.

You guys honestly have lost (or never had) the big picture of music. Who cares if he is older? He is making beautiful music and that is all that matters.

  • @ft552 We all know that he's making beautiful music. Just because we're young and can play this doesn't mean we're conceited. It means we are young and can play this. That's all. Don't freak out man, it's all right to let a young person be just as good at something as an older person. And besides, he doesn't look any older than 35. Remember, just because someone says they can do something, DOES NOT mean that they are conceited. It just means that anyone can be good at something.

  • i'm third grade and i play this better than him...:))

  • this song is so easy

  • I have to play this. I'm 17. I play cello for 5 months. At least I know how it should sound like. Hmm...

  • i played this for my 7th grade solo... a little more shortend and basic but the same song...

  • I love saying TADAAA TADAAA TADAAAAAAA on the first three notes XD!!

  • @JaeChoi94 Haha, that's great!

  • @JaeChoi94 I am so gonna do that now!

  • @asianppl168 nvm i was looking at the suzuki version and in the book there was supposed to be a diff. chord at around 1:20

  • u cant get it for free my friend but u can buy sazuki book number 4

  • Please if anyone knows where I can get the sheet music for this song help me to find, it is urgent! I've searched several places on the Internet I and not found. So if anyone can help me I'm grateful. Thanks!

  • @BoazCastro Petrucci music library has the first movement available for free download. If you go to imslp.org, you should be able to find it fairly easily. Also, it has a lot of other free classical music available. Hope that works for you!

  • @CelloMusic4ever I'm 16 and I've learned this movement about 3 years ago. =)

  • @CelloMusic4ever it's beginner level... just because an advanced cellist is playing it, doesn't mean you're all virtuosos.

  • @CelloMusic4ever i'm only ten

  • @CelloMusic4ever You could be 15 or younger and play this but I can make you sure that you're not going to play it like a older person.

  • @HandlessClown Im agree with you... thats the diference about a musician and a player...
