I see an eerie similarity between Germany in the 30s and 40s, and Iran right now. Roosevelt was passing sanctions against Germany, left and right...arming their enemies and offering US support to countries that would continue their war with Germany. We were also making deals with Russia and causing trouble in the far east. If you look for some of the history that was "not" taught in school, you might be very surprised at some of the things you find.
