Thats correct, it was the "golden Age" of voices and operas. But in this recording is the great differenz between Caruso and Volpi to hear. Volpi is wonderfull but Caruso is the top, nobody could reach Crusos Voice and playing with his voice. Caruso was in all what he sung the unreached top. Volpi was not in all unreaching top in comparison with Caruso.
