Or maybe you should stop focusing on birthing children all together and focus on the souls currently on earth in need of salvation since apparently the greatest good in this situation is having the most souls in the kingdom and achieving the kingdom. Why continue to maintain a generational existence in a fallen creation when it isn't the final or even preferable place to exist? If you simply stop breeding, convince others to do the same and convince people of your religion, less harm is done.

Christianity is dying throughout the world one generation at a time, you know why? Cos we've got bigger fish to fry. You can't mess with free will; if your children want to be gay, atheist, jewish, muslim. What does it matter? It's their life. Being concerned that you're not breeding enough to get more people into your community is an incredibly selfish concept. And you wonder why we don't want anything to do with it?

There are some very good points in this video. They start right in the bevinning when he says education causes people to stop believing. True point. From the rest of the video I see a man promoting bringing even more children into the world that already has food shortages...just so his superstition can stay alive. Really responsible message...not. Im glad to be witnessing the death of religion, and the age of reason growing!

A god whos traits are unknown is irrefutable compared to a god whos traits are known.

Which is why the Christian god, all be it takes a while, is disprovable, and has been disproven through his own words.

Americans don't have a lot of kids anymore because it is super expensive to raise a kid nowadays. ($ 1 mil to age 18) The church takes at least 10% of their income which makes it impossible to have more kids. But of course churches have always pushed people to have more kids because more asses in the pews means more money in the collection plate. I'm a pastors son so I know exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to this topic.

@MrTruthAddict: And the sad thing is, people give far more when the church doesn't make money a priority. My church hardly even mentions money except at the budget meeting to give account of how the leadership actually spent the money. If the church is focused on the truth of Christ then people will give of their income naturally. You don't have to beg or manipulate. They just do out of desire.

You guys treat children like commodities. You expect them not to grow up with independent minds and educated in world religions, but to be indoctrinated with the religion of their parents.

You guys also have to get over the idea that society "wins" by having more children. Do we really want to return to the third world and the pre-20th century where women were treated like baby factories?

@manowar40: Actually, historic Christianity is fine. Modern, cultural Christianity is dying out which is a good thing. Historic Christianity is growing rapidly with a return to the reformation principles of the past. I thank evolutionary naturalism for that as well as moral relativism. :-D
