Remeber, Killer Croc grabbed scarecrow from behind and was about to kill him when Batman grabbed a batarang and threw it at Crocs collar, shocking him. At the end Scarecrows hand pops up and grabs a box so he didn't get killed by Croc. But enough of Croc and Crow, lol, I think they should bring back Joker some how, even though I think he's nuts I still like him as my enemy. His little challenges are fun to beat and watch him squirm.

All I know is that the third one better go balls out. I still say it should take place in the entire city of Gotham, and I mean the entire city even Arkham island and City. And moe of Mr Freeze, I wouldn't mind going a few more rounds with Solam Grundy, how ever you spell it. Answer me this, heres where I'm confused, Bane's been living with Titan in him his whole life right and he's not dead yet. So how come Joker suposadly died after only a year and Batman starting having trouble...

OK, Grundy would be nice to meet again. and to the Bane thing, it isnt Titan in him. It's Venom, wich some army scientist made and material that Dr.Young used to create Titan. Venom was designed for Bane, but Titan is more unstable and can kill if you get overdose of it + Joker shot Titan in his head at Asylum.
Oh yeah, I forgot he shot it in his head. And I'm remembering now that in Batman and Robin that they used Venom in Bane. I still don't understand how Joker had it in him for a year, because Arkham City is suppose to take place a year after Asylum, and was still alive but Batman only ha dit in him for a few hours and Oricle kept chiming in saying he maybe had a few minutes before he drank the blood of the demon. I geuss you have to be insane to live longer with that crap in you.

I reckon it's Jason Todd; he's gotta show up as Red Hood in the next game, I mean, this one had Robin in campaign and Robin AND Nightwing in the challenge maps, so Jason needs to show up next, and, especially if they put Nightwing as a playable character in the campaign next time (Really hoping they do, tbh, woulda preferred him in the campaign to Catwoman in City), since anyone whose read some of the more recent comics knows that Dick Grayson and Jason Todd are like Batman and the Joker V2.

It's great to know that Rocksteady put 3 Scarecrow things into this. More than any special villain in the game. (For example, Black Mask, or Mad Hatter) This shows that Rocksteady knew that they didn't put Scarecrow in, and was most likely apologizing to the public for not putting him in the game, (For reasons unknown, maybe they ran out of ideas for him at the time) and were reassuring that he will be in the next. I praise Rocksteady for doing this. Most just ignore things and move on.
I think they want players to forget about him by using that, and then he returns in the third game, yes. At the end of Arkham Asylum, his hand rises from the water, grabbing a box of TITAN.

At the end of Arkham Asylum, one of the hands that grabbed the Titan box was Scarecrow's hand, and in Arkham City, there are clues about Scarecrow being alive. It's so obvious Scarecrow will be a major villian in the third game if they were to make one.
If they make a third game, put the setting in all of Gotham City and have Scarecrow included to create fear in the whole city and have it be an epic battle for the whole city and all of it's people. I hope to see an epic game again Rocksteady make us all proud and create another one cause we all love Arkham City!

I have no evidence to back up my theory but the last sequence has a specific decoding patern where you substitue like x,y, z with abc or something like that, and ive heard that the last message is translated to "fear will tear the streets of Gotham" so it's scarecrow that's doin these mesages. I think that in the third game of batman, the follow up game after Arkham city, batman will have to travel down to hell. Maybe those messages were from joker who (spoiler alert) dies in the game.
The third you have to decode 3 times with different methods the third methods key word is "scarecrow" so it's safe to say its scarecrow sending the messages
First one decodes to I will return batman the second decides you will pay for what you have done to me the third is fear will tear Gotham city to shreds

@EclipseHedgehog i'm afraid bringing him back is inevitable anyway, but they should give the spotlight to a different villain. problem is, they blew their load in this game, so there's almost no one left to introduce, but there's room to explore some characters deeper (i.e. mad hatter, scarecrow) and maybe introduce some of the newer, more obscure characters, but really, only onomatopeia and hush are any good out of the newer ones, and hush is already introduced, so... maybe more hush next?

Discreatly, he gets a team together, sets up machines, of different sizes, around Gothem, which contains his infamous "Fear gas". Once all machines are placed he denates them and watches as Gothem tears itself to shreds in Fear. Batman must stop him. Can he do it without having to visit his parents again.

This is incredible! It took me a few months to get this worked out, to play with ciphers and decoders. The secret messages could have been left by anybody. Joker, Ras' al Ghul, or even Strange. Joker died of a Titan Infection in his blood. He probably didnt do it. Strange was murdered by Ras', wasn't him. Ras' killed himself, or tried to. So it wasnt him. I was still wonderin. So I took the disgised voice, that reads off the numbers, and decipherd it. Its closest match is, Dr. Jonathan Crane.
Or it could be Harleys kid. Hopin to see her before she has her kid, then it fast forwards into the futre (but not batman beyond. It ruined all the villains ( but great costume in the arkham city dlc)).
The first message is probably made by zasz or scarecrow. The second is scarecrow. But the third one decodes to “Gotham waits for it's savior”. That is probably made by zasz because he kills people for salvation. He thinks he is kind of a hero. But maybe it is scarecrow I don't know...

There was also three other people on the wall one of them looked like batgirl from the cartoons and the other one looked like batman but he was wearing different colors? it was like purple or something i never seen this guy before. I found a room in the middle of Gotham prison, it was not on the map, it was just like the Warden's Office in the first one.i remember it saying what this guy was talking about and what Killerguy147 typed, it was all over the wall, it had pictures of batman, joker, harly quinn, clayface, killer croc, scarecrow, deadshot, robin, catwoman, the night stalker guy, penguin, Mr. freeze, poison ivy, scareface, killer moth or fire fly, hush, two face, black mask.
this mytery radio messager, could be a villian never before seen in the arkham series. this story is based off of the comics, so i bet if we go back to the comics, it could be revealed. Hell it could be Jason (The Red Hood) cuz he did become batmans rival.
IGN idk if you found this but there is a mask you can find at the gotham dock and it is Scarecrow's and you fly over to a boat and put in a code (can't remember what the password unlocked is) but you get to go in the boat and it is actually Scarecrow's.

It's great to know that Rocksteady put 3 Scarecrow things into this. More than any special villain in the game. (For example, Black Mask, or Mad Hatter) This shows that Rocksteady knew that they didn't put Scarecrow in, and was most likely apologizing to the public for not putting him in the game, (For reasons unknown, maybe they ran out of ideas for him at the time) and were reassuring that he will be in the next. I praise Rocksteady for doing this. Most just ignore things and move on.

At the end of Arkham Asylum, one of the hands that grabbed the Titan box was Scarecrow's hand, and in Arkham City, there are clues about Scarecrow being alive. It's so obvious Scarecrow will be a major villian in the third game if they were to make one.

I have no evidence to back up my theory but the last sequence has a specific decoding patern where you substitue like x,y, z with abc or something like that, and ive heard that the last message is translated to "fear will tear the streets of Gotham" so it's scarecrow that's doin these mesages. you know i think this all relates to scarecrow. if they ever make a new game the boss is goin to be him. the first two messages are hinting towards arkham asylum. the third message from wat DISTURBEDFAN741 says also makes alot of sense. then the easter egg where u find his shipments inside the boat. then if you do azreals side mission he says hell will rise and everyones deepest fear is like hell to them. so its scarcrow. or at least in my opinion.

it's scarecrow, and this is how u decode the 3rd message:

This gives the sequence: X G A I A K C Z P W C R X S V Y O I U K T P X Q J V N W F S. Finally, a Vigenere ciphere is used. *SPOILERS* The long message with random numbers can be decoded by matching each number to its corresponding letters in the alphabet, like he did, and get the random letters, but after you do that you then use the Atbash cipher so that A is substituted for Z, Y for B, X for C, etc. This will give you the sequence XGAIAKCZPWCRXSVYOIUKTPXQJVNWFS. Finally, use the Vigenere cipher by using the keyword SCARECROW to get the final result: FEAR WILL TEAR GOTHAM CITY TO SHREDS.

@EclipseHedgehog i'm afraid bringing him back is inevitable anyway, but they should give the spotlight to a different villain. problem is, they blew their load in this game, so there's almost no one left to introduce, but there's room to explore some characters deeper (i.e. mad hatter, scarecrow) and maybe introduce some of the newer, more obscure characters, but really, only onomatopeia and hush are any good out of the newer ones, and hush is already introduced, so... maybe more hush next?

"possible" SPOILER ALERT!: Crane comes to Gothem after Arkham City is shut down. Discreatly, he gets a team together, sets up machines, of different sizes, around Gothem, which contains his infamous "Fear gas". Once all machines are placed he denates them and watches as Gothem tears itself to shreds in Fear. Batman must stop him. Can he do it without having to visit his parents again.

This is incredible! It took me a few months to get this worked out, to play with ciphers and decoders. The secret messages could have been left by anybody. Joker, Ras' al Ghul, or even Strange. Joker died of a Titan Infection in his blood. He probably didnt do it. Strange was murdered by Ras', wasn't him. Ras' killed himself, or tried to. So it wasnt him. I was still wonderin. So I took the disgised voice, that reads off the numbers, and decipherd it. Its closest match is, Dr. Jonathan Crane.

The first message is probably made by zasz or scarecrow. The second is scarecrow. But the third one decodes to “Gotham waits for it's savior”. That is probably made by zasz because he kills people for salvation. He thinks he is kind of a hero. But maybe it is scarecrow I don't know...

I found a room in the middle of Gotham prison, it was not on the map, it was just like the Warden's Office in the first one.i remember it saying what this guy was talking about and what Killerguy147 typed, it was all over the wall, it had pictures of batman, joker, harly quinn, clayface, killer croc, scarecrow, deadshot, robin, catwoman, the night stalker guy, penguin, Mr. freeze, poison ivy, scareface, killer moth or fire fly, hush, two face, black mask.

IGN idk if you found this but there is a mask you can find at the gotham dock and it is Scarecrow's and you fly over to a boat and put in a code (can't remember what the password unlocked is) but you get to go in the boat and it is actually Scarecrow's.
