Years ago you woulda got lashed by your Dad with a leather belt - a couple a times got 25 lashes across the back, the butt and the legs - wasn't always as many as that - but I DID deserve it when I got it!! Dad was fair - an alternative was always offered - grounded for a month or the belt. Always took the belt because, in 15 minutes, it was over. Dad never injured or hurt us but we had to take the licks and there was pain. Had to get stripped also - no hiding place!! Some kids did get hurt!!

I don't think so. The only pain he could feel in the morning is head ache if he drank too much. You don't feel any pain of whipping after a few minutes, all the more the next day.

I did check out your vid. True, they is more vivid reaction to the "pain". It's comical in that regard for sure. But, the difference here in this video - is that both guys not only absorb the "pain" like men but actually transcend the event by their mental mindset and outlook in stepping boldly up to face a direct challenge most of us would be quick to avoid.
