I love the national anthem of U.S.A..Because Charice showed me the beauty of the anthem by her singing.
When I listened to the anthem by Charice,I was impressed deeply by her vocal which was strong and beautiful and I could understand the dignity of lyrics.
I was so surprised by this phenomenon.Because I am Japanese. I've never been interest in the national anthem of other countries even if famous singers sang.

She has sang primarily pop, but she excelled in R&B, gospel (like to see Charice try that), Opera (you can view her performance with Pavarotti on Youtube), musical (Cinderella) and of course dance. So, the one thing I've never heard anyone question, was Whitney's versatility. I'm sorry, but again, I'd take Whitney's best against Charice's best anyday. @jj4lvi Actually, they're not Davis Foster songs, he was the producer, and Whitney didn't work with him until "I Will Always Love You", a Dolly Parton song, after she was already one of the best-selling artist ever. Just remember her rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" is the standard by with all others are judged. Hitting all the note is great, but there are things called nuance and feeling.

You have a lot to learn. Whitney forte is ballad and I liked her but her time is over. Even WH was very impressed with Charice making DF's songs survive time.

A 4- to 5-minute song is different from a line of song that lasts a few seconds. If you think they're the same you are definitely a nutcase. LMFAO Even Sting and Elton John can sing a little bit of opera ! LOL Besides, Head Voice is damaging to one's vocals chords. Chest Voice is the right way to go. Ever heard of Mariah Carey?
