I am a Somali American in Minnesota and I am proud of my people in Eastleigh and their achievements. Hats off to you all, specially those who made the Grand Royal Hotel possible. That will be my first stop for my trip to Nairobi this Summer Insha Allah.
@snapfilmskenya .Had a question for you Sir...Very nice hotel but what were you guys thinking setting up a hotel in Eastleigh? To my best knowledge Eastleigh is neglected by the Municipal city authorities by not fixing the sewage problem or even collecting the rubbish of the area. I know this because my fellow Somalis who visit Eastleigh always complain about the mud and dirt though they are very proud of our Somali people for having such a thriving businesses in that particular area.
@TheUsuallSuspect. Well we didn't put up the hotel but i would say this. Eastleigh is a growing and thriving business district in Nairobi and despite the difficulties brought about by the municipal authorities, the community there have made great strides in upgrading the infrastruture in the area. The business and community leaders have also come together to address the sanitation issues that may still exist by pooling their resources. And when they do this hotel will be at the heart of it.
keep it guys take it to the top
