The pistol does have infinite ammo, if you look at the scene in this video where the guy is shooting his pistol it doesn't have a number showing how much ammo is left, just how much is left in the clip.

Nah they should wait a year or two then surprise people with that has even more guns and ammo things. 5 new special infected. 21 campaigns. 8 survivors (10 campaign for both groups of 4, one where the survivors meet) and a really good storyline. Plus all the fun online multiplayer-ness. That would be enough for sixty bones.

No, they added the spitter to make the expirience more challenging for the survivors. For example, all four survivors back up into the the corner, two spam shove, two shoot. Lets face it with that tactic your pretty much invincible and with the spitter, she keeps you on your toes and stops you from using those tactics, i thought she was a great idea.
