since you said that you want a matte and waterproof liquid liner i would recommend to you Urban Decays 24/7 liquid liner it is just so so good. I know that you were talking about drug store liquid liners but for a little more money Urban Decays liquid liner is just perfect!!
I love that physician's formula one, its in a silver pen type packaging. It's the one that is supposed to make your eyelashes grow longer, lol which lets be honest it doesnt. I still love it though as just an eyeliner, its so black and smooth.

DOLLYWINK LINER!!! I canNOT say it enough. I am Asian and have very similar eyelids that touch in the inner corner and can get slightly oily and I have never used a better liner EVER. The staying power is incredible, it DOES NOT MOVE. It doesn't have that slick finish (I hate that too) and does not dry out easily at all. You'll love it too! :)
there r nail polish strips exactly like the sally hansen ones sold at sallys for waaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper and theyre just as cute and quick and easy...hope this helps!!:]

I have over 900 favorites on my youtube channel, though I dont really consider myself a "favoriter" or a hoarder of random videos that interest me in the slightest bit. I've a rule where I literally watch each would-be-favorite video at least a minimum of 3 times before it gets the privilege of being favorited by me. most of the time I don't really keep track of the number because who is counting anyway, and besides I'm not all OCD like that. Hi Christine! If you're looking for a long-wearing liquid eyeliner, I HIGHLY recommend trying Wet'n'Wild H20 proof liquid liner! It applies glossy but dries matte. I have SUPER oily lids and nearly all water-proof liners and mascaras smudge on me. I was very skeptical when my makeup-savvy friend suggested this $4 product, but now it has become a HG item!

if you can get your hands on boujoirs try their long lasting one ..don't know what exactly it is called but it is ultra black and stays on forever .. it can be a bit hard to work with but really worth trying (:
Liquid liner pens with brush tips are my favorite, because I find they're the easiest to use. The Physician's Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum is my favorite. I love felt tip pens as well. Like everyone else, I like Koji Dollywink, but I also love Stila's Waterproof Smudgeproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen. Hope you find one you like!
I've tried soo many liquid liners too because I used to prefer them over normal pencil or cream liners. I agree the NYC one is SUPER flaky. I've tried a fair few! And now I'm in love with the Dolly Wink Liquid Liner. Its a pen/marker like thing similar to the revlon colorstay liquid liner (but I felt that the revlon was very dry, not as black and thick and it ran out wayyy too fast!). TRY DOLLY WINK =)
i've used revlon colorstay liquid liner in black for the past four years and i still use it everyday. i feel like my skin type is really similar to yours so it might work for you too.
great video! two liquid liners that i really enjoy are the Physicians Formula eye booster eyeliner (it has a lash serum, but i dont really notice a difference). a higher end liquid liner that i love is the stila stay all day waterproof liner. i dont like shiny finishes on liquid liners either, but both of these are a bit more matte.
You're still by far my favourite yt guru, and I am really happy that things are working out so well for you and that you're getting more and more into professional makeup artistry, but I can't help but feel a little bit sad that I've lost my most reliable and candid source for nice affordable makeup worth trying.
And as far as liquid eyeliner goes, I like Eyeko's pen because it's easy to use and versatile, but the product dries out rather fast, so I can't say it's my favourite ever.
@happyjellyfish She still uses a lot of affordable products. Yeah, there are the occasional most expensive things, but she's always included those. And sometimes, the more expensive things are totally worth it because of their quality.
@barrogten I said she uses less of them, and she does so that's not up for debate. Also, I have a different standard for what 'worth it' means and if you're going by ingredients alone (or company ethics) then no, the department store products are NOT worth it. Stila Waterproof Smudgeproof Liquid Eye Liner Pen in black... perfect liquid eye liner pen ever!! i have oily lids and this does not transfer at all. I just bought my 3rd pen :)
I really love the k-palette 1 day tattoo eye liner is my favorite. It never flakes, it's dark and lasts all day (even though I have REALLY oily lids). It's a pen type and literally has the thinnest brush I've ever seen.
Try Maybelline Line Stiletto, it's very smudge proof for a non-waterproof liner. And most liners smudge and transfer on me because my lower lashline area get watery/oily easily, and I tend to get things smudged down there even when I only have eye product on my lids.
try loreal telescopic precision liner in carbon black! it has a matte finish vs. the loreal lineur intense liner! :) i recently tried it and i love it!
The physicians formula eye booster+liquid eyeliner is reeeally good. The only thing is, its like a pen if its upside down for too long it wont work as well. All you have to do is shake it a acouple times. but other than that, it lasts all day, and doesnt flake or smudge off. :)
I love the Rimmel London Exaggerate, I don't know if you have tried it before but it does not leave that shiny finish, which I like. It's not the best of the best out there but it is very cheap and good for matte finish and me and my girlfriends have been using it since high school and we also tried everything out there so like you till we find something we are sticking to this one :)
I am currently using a GOSH extreme art eye liner and it has amazing staying power and lasts all day despite the fact that I have extremely oily eye lids. Great stuff! I am unsure if it is available in the US since I purchased it in a London drugstore. If you could get your hands on it I hope you do get it and try it!

I really like the Almay black liquid eyeliner! It's super black, and when you first put it on you can adjust it but as soon as it dries, it's not going ANYWHERE! All my friends recommended it to me, and now I love it too! Try it out! = )
the nyx felt tip liquid liner is AMAZING! not the super skinny one or the super fat one just the normal one! doesn't smudge or rub off but comes off easily when u want it too :) its also super easy ti apply! <3

DOLLY WINK liquid liner is awesome, it is a tad bit shiny but not as shiny as L'Oreal Linuer Intense, and it doesn't flake like the L'Oreal one. The point is super pointy so you can get ur wing super precise. Try it out!
try the Napoleon liquid water resistant eye liner :) i love their applicator - it's not flimsy or soft and it's water resistant, so not as harsh as water proof however won't run on a rainy day! :)
I like Physician's Formula liquid liner. It goes on really nice and doesn't budge at all! I love it! So easy to apply, too! I also wanna let you know that you're totally right about the "impossibility" of having favorites every month. Unless the person is a serious addict or mentol, it's not normal to get new makeup products every month. That's why I don't trust gurus that have new faves every month. You, on the other hand, are definately credible :)

I tried a number of liquid liners, and the Blinc liquid eye liner really caught my attention. I used dark grey and it is as matte as anything can get, I'm sure the black one is not gonna be shiny, either. The interesting thing about Blinc liquid liner is that it's "water resistant" not water proof. You can rinse it w/ warm water and it'll come off in these moist flakes, but if you it does not smudge at all, even in humid sweaty summers. =)

Also, I have a different standard for what 'worth it' means and if you're going by ingredients alone (or company ethics) then no, the department store products are NOT worth it. Try the dollywink liquid liner! It has a great thin and flexible felt tip applicator, it's very black, opaque but NOT flaky. it's liquidy. Try it!

I really love the k-palette 1 day tattoo eye liner is my favorite. It never flakes, it's dark and lasts all day (even though I have REALLY oily lids). It's a pen type and literally has the thinnest brush I've ever seen.

Try Maybelline Line Stiletto, it's very smudge proof for a non-waterproof liner. And most liners smudge and transfer on me because my lower lashline area get watery/oily easily, and I tend to get things smudged down there even when I only have eye product on my lids.

My favorite eyeliner is by Revlon... Not the marker but the one that looks like an ink bottle.. That one stays all day and it's not shiny.

The physicians formula eye booster+liquid eyeliner is reeeally good. The only thing is, its like a pen if its upside down for too long it wont work as well. All you have to do is shake it a acouple times. but other than that, it lasts all day, and doesnt flake or smudge off. :)

I love the Rimmel London Exaggerate, I don't know if you have tried it before but it does not leave that shiny finish, which I like. It's not the best of the best out there but it is very cheap and good for matte finish and me and my girlfriends have been using it since high school and we also tried everything out there so like you till we find something we are sticking to this one :)

I am currently using a GOSH extreme art eye liner and it has amazing staying power and lasts all day despite the fact that I have extremely oily eye lids. Great stuff! I am unsure if it is available in the US since I purchased it in a London drugstore. If you could get your hands on it I hope you do get it and try it!

my AWESOME, AWESOME liquid eyeliner is the Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner. i got it from one of jen's (from frmheadtotoe) videos and i absolutely love it. i already stock up on it. the line is so thin, making it every easy and precise, however, i do know that some ppl dont like it because it's thin. and the liner stays on all day, seriously, ALL DAY ...

I really like the Almay black liquid eyeliner! It's super black, and when you first put it on you can adjust it but as soon as it dries, it's not going ANYWHERE! All my friends recommended it to me, and now I love it too! Try it out! = )

DOLLY WINK liquid liner is awesome, it is a tad bit shiny but not as shiny as L'Oreal Linuer Intense, and it doesn't flake like the L'Oreal one. The point is super pointy so you can get ur wing super precise. Try it out!

try the Napoleon liquid water resistant eye liner :) i love their applicator - it's not flimsy or soft and it's water resistant, so not as harsh as water proof however won't run on a rainy day! :)

I like Physician's Formula liquid liner. It goes on really nice and doesn't budge at all! I love it! So easy to apply, too! I also wanna let you know that you're totally right about the "impossibility" of having favorites every month. Unless the person is a serious addict or mentol, it's not normal to get new makeup products every month. That's why I don't trust gurus that have new faves every month. You, on the other hand, are definately credible :)

I tried a number of liquid liners, and the Blinc liquid eye liner really caught my attention. I used dark grey and it is as matte as anything can get, I'm sure the black one is not gonna be shiny, either. The interesting thing about Blinc liquid liner is that it's "water resistant" not water proof. You can rinse it w/ warm water and it'll come off in these moist flakes, but if you it does not smudge at all, even in humid sweaty summers. =)
