My boyfriend and I saw something very similar on July 10, 2011. We did make a MUFON report and we were interviewed by them as well.

Hey! I live in Southport on the north west coast of England and I have seen this at least 4 times over the last 5 years! I've watched it move exactly like it does in your video and I've also witnessed it zigzag across the sky. it changes direction so fast and so sharp that i'm sure we don't have anything of that capability on our planet. It defies the laws of physics. On one occasion after watching it's movements for about 5minutes it shot off at warp speed and it was gone in a flash????

@lilly31southportuk HEY! Too bad you only get to see them once a year. I see them like 4 times a week the other 3 times I dont see them is because it is cloudy out. But each star filled night starting at 730pm CDT in Chicago the Orbs or UFOs seem to come out and criss cross the sky here mostly in a North to South, South to North direction in 20 minute intervals. They zig zag, move straight and slow, are a bright white, orange, dim orange, or amber color. Once saw one get bright like the sun!

We're also seeing these lights in Spokane, Wa. Been watching them nearly every night between 8:00 pm to 11:00pm PST. It's really interesting to see so many other people witnessing this phenomenon! I sure would like an explanation to what it is. There's so many videos on youtube and reports on MUFON of the exact same thing we are seeing! Something strange is going on for sure. I've been a sky watcher my whole life and never once seen anything like this until now!

I saw the same phenomen in the sky of Montreal August 29 at 21h15-30 comming from south and going in north est, then I saw it back a couple minutes later from north to south. I finnaly saw a orange nuage emmerging from the orb and then the orb disappear after 4 sec in south ouest direction. Badly I was in my SPA looking the sky and I dont have time to take my camera :(

That object have a motor for sure and the cone of smoke I saw at the distance I was is huge, like a missile orange smoke.

I am pretty sure they extent of what they can do here is just observe so enjoy the show but bring your camcorder with you next time and email me when you see them again.

@ozzfestveteren666 I goto Yakima Wa quite a bit and they seem to show themselves a lot there in the NW. I have always wanted to goto James Gillilands ECETI ranch but never seem to have the time. I also have a number of witnesses that have watched "the lights", as we've been calling them, with me every time. Glad to know that we're not the only ones in Spokane to see this crazy shit!

Those are Chinese sky lanterns. Don't be fooled by pranksters. Im in Chicago, trust me. Ofcourse they arent flares. They are riding the wind. I dont see no intelligent control and no aerodynamic movement. Its lanterns. Waste of a MUFON report if you ask me.

@guttergawker You must not understand how wind works in high altitude.. but sure buddy you keep thinking under the assumption that because you record lights in the sky that are doing nothing spectacular except moving fast along a parallel line that you know for certain its not a man-made object. Im just offering an opinion. Keep watching the skies - maybe you'll see Uranus next.

Im sorry that you seem to get debunkers all the time on your videos but that tends to happen on youtube when 90% of the time most UFO/paranormal vids can be explained away as hoaxes or mis - identified man made objects. Congrats! We call these Iridium Flare Satellites. They show up after sunset for about 90min to 120min and the same before sunrise. As a matter of fact the time is perfect if it was really around 8:39pm. Go to Heavens Above dot com or J-Pass dot com and they are all documented. How bright, how long, when, where, level of brightness. It's a common mistake. They aren't orange like you think. That's the atmosphere. By the looks of the angle you saw these it makes sense. The moon is orange sometimes

If saw a dull orange football shaped UFO in Florida coming out of the Gulf of Mexico. I was across the street from the beach and when it got overhead, it did some crazy moves and took off at an impossible speed. Ironically we were talking about UFOs when we saw it. I felt like I had a connection with it. Sounds strange I know but it was a very strong feeling. I'll never forget it.

@guttergawker That's exactly how I feel. I actually do see them a lot. It seems like every time I go outside I see one in the same spot in the sky. It sites there for a minute them flies away. I wake up in the middle of the night sometimes and i hear a low, slow pulsing sound that appears to be coming from above me. Not too long ago, I woke up in a panic and was certain someone was in the house. I searched everywhere but didn't find anything. Could be a coincidence but still strange.
