Gomer get good at throwing bottles with around 5 pounds. When you do that move up to 6. Continue to do that until you gt to about 12 which is what that looks like it is.
Please Hsin Chuen ! I need some pointers on how to throw such large amounts of clay. I always get stuck with more clay at the bottom than the top and i dont know how to pull it all up.
Your pulling looks so effortless and i would greatly appreciate any tips you have THanks in advanced! -James
Thanks you so much for your videos. I've been throwing for 8 weeks and have learned so much from you. I watch and re-watch your videos all the time. I've learned to spiral wedge from you and managed my first large pot, 10 pounds. In a future video, could you please show the shape of your left hand during a pull. It is always behind the pot. Your pulls look so effortless. Do you ever do workshops. I hope to thank you in person someday.
@gftribe1 Sorry, I don't know how to turn down the sound on my wheel or my mic on the camera. Can you turn down or mute your computer's sound while you are watching my videos. I edit my videos so that they are not to long and boring. If I talk while I am throwing, it might be cut during my talking.

How many lbs do you think this was like 12? I have been trying this shape but hard to keep it from collapsing.

With all due respect, gftribe14, who cares about the wheel noise? The man is giving us gems, turn down your sound and watch him.

@hsinchuen You are a master of pottery, and you need not concern yourself with people's petty complaints about wheel noise. You are the MAN.
