Stuart Townsend is the best actor ever and he was the a suitable actor for the role , i love the movie even tho its not quite similar to the book , and yeah ur right DuzieInuChick he supposed to have blond hair and grey eyes , and in the film they didnt talk abt his mum nor his friend Nickolas !!

the movie was ok, i love the sound track. but nothing beats the book. i was a little disapointed that Lestat had brown hair and eyes in the movie when he is saposed to have blond hair and grey eyes. I just with they would make a movie out of the lestat's 1st book. ah...wishfull thinking.

I love lestat... and i love this film... I have the Lestat in "intervista col vampiro"... but that was an other point of view... in the other book Lestat is fantastic... and in the film "La regina dei dannati" I love him!

well if you had read the books you would actually hate this movie lol

the story has almost no link with the two books (Lestat le vampire and La reine des damnés), maybe the names of some characters... lol

@annick841 I complitely agree with you about the fact that the film and the book haven't a strong link... but indeed I always thought that movies and books should not be considered the same thing. it is difficoult to explain becouse I don't know the right word in this language but i must try. I have watched the film before reading the book, and I love the vampire Lestat in The Queen Of the Damn ( not in the Intervista col vampiro becouse it is too selfish and too sadistic...

@annick841 the point of view of louis doesn't explain Lestat at all )... however only after I discovered the book and, yes there are different between the two characters but both of them are intresting and good. they aren't the same person in my mind. they are similar but not the same. and I think that this is good... in only a film how they can explain the Lestat of Anne Rice??

it is impossible. but if you considered only the film without the book, it is nice. this lestat is nice, his behavior and the feeling of lonliness and damnation... and that is it... i think that that film about vampire is nice to wacth, and that some aspect of the Lestat of the book is captured. only few, but enough for only a film.

Je préfère largement aalyhah comme vampire, en plus le comte dracula n'a jamais éxisté (pure invention de polansky). Par contre la comtesse à vraiment vécu. Sinon comme vampire je trouve que Angel et Spike de Buffy sont pas mal.
