@SublimeSati Well I live in California some as well and the laws are not too bad given the population density. (agree with the rifle mag key drop thing but disagree with the pistol carry laws) you rarely will be shooting over 100 yards at something so shotguns and pistols are king in the cities.

Otherwise, if you fear that you are in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm, you can shoot.
