I was the manager of Storm, I owned the Losers in Tampa, they are featured in both of my books with pictures ect. No Title Fits and The Losers Tampa which was inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of Fame goggle me Dave Tex Anders or The Losers Tampa for more info.
@hteaford Here are the names of the songs I have. YOU WERE SO UNKING & YOU'VE GOT TO MAKE IT(THE BEST WAY YOU CAN ) By The Shape of Things.MISSISSIPPI FUNK & LILA, GOOD TIME DELTA MUSIC & FLOATIN' ON THE BAYOU, RAISIN HELL AND ROCK AND ROLLIN & I CAN FEEL THE RAIN By The Band Storm. My family lived in Grand Bay and in Moss Point.
Dear FBI friend, I'm still trying to find your request, for now I can only say that I am not going to give up until i find it, I'm just gonna Strive!!! Happy New Year {°-°}
Lots more! Doug Mays is still recording in Nashville. What are the name of the songs by The Shape of Things? I had forgotten about that group...he's had several.
Disappointed that you can't post any of the other songs by Storm but at least share the names of ALL the tunes by Doug Mays and Storm and The Shape of Things that you do have. Please! So did you and your family live in Moss Point or Pascagoula, Mississippi?
I'm so sorry that I disappointed You, my friend Tikal and I found this copy on the web almost two years ago under the label: Bell® records @45RPM 7" One side has the Mono version; the other side has the Stereo version.
It took us about 15 years to find this tune, now that we have it, Tikal and I decided to uploaded on youtube. I'm from Guatemala but now i live in the US. Like i said before... just give me some time (it can take: one day... one year... or so) see you soon!!! Peace :)
The songwriter, singer and bass player on "Mississippi Funk" is Doug Mays, the father of my child but that's a whole other story. Post "Lila" from the flipside please. You own a piece of southern rock n' roll history!
@teaford I have four 45's three by Storm and one by The Shape of Things Doug was a member of both bands. They were given to me by his Mother. His parents were friend with my grandparents .I have good memories of his parents they were good people. Sad to say I have no way to post the songs on You Tube.

@hteaford .. They were a Gulf Coast band along the Mississippi. Louisiana coast back in 1973 under the Bell record label Bell. I have a 45 from my Dad's music collection. HE grew up in Biloxi. . One other decent tune by Storm also on another 45 is Good time Delta Music (both were written by Doug Maze or Doug Mays.. Each 45 is spelled differentl) . I especially like Mississippi Fun (B side is called Lila)
Felicidades subiste una canción que muchos disfrutamos en los 70 s y no es posible conseguir. La toque en mi primer grupo hace muchos ayeres, Perdi el disco y solo la recordaba escasamente. Gracias por este buen recuerdo.
