Teslas are full EVs so they don't have an engine. Instead, they have a brushless motor hooked up to a battery and allows faster acceleration that internal combustion engines twice as large.
You also do know that EPA just classified the Fisker Karma as a "sub-compact" car due to its tiny interior. This just shows again that Fisker is pretty bad at everything except the outside design of the car. Google it.

So basically, all Fisker did was put leather on a Chevy Volt and jack the price up by two. You're still 100% dependent on oil as its not a pure electric like Tesla. He's no innovator, just a schmuck.
The car isn't even American if its made in Finland. Even its motors are made in China. Why is he getting government money for this?!
Basically what they do is put 400hp running on 2 twin electric rotors with extended autonomy.. don't be an asshole.. tesla will depend on recharging sites at every couple of miles this is the highest development of enviromental engine plus where do you think energy from those sites came??
uh no the engines are outsourced and so are the motors. there no proprietary technology, its not more fuel efficient than a volt or leaf, its not faster than a tesla. its not innovative, its not revolutionary. It just some douche putting gold and leather on a volt, and jacking up the price 2 to 3 times to go a few seconds faster.
