If you have a 7600 or better graphics card .. then yes but you will get low framerate.. your comp is a hair better then mine.. i get around 10 average FPS in unpopulated zones (with a group)

alright guys...heres the dilemma...and i really need some help...after doing a ton of research i have narrowed my choices to three classes....Necromancer....HoX.­...and Dark Templer....the necromacer is nice but im not a fan of the "back lines"...the Dark Templer's leech is awesome...but i was told that dps isn't to strong and they really are meant for tank....then i I thought HoX...but i heard they run out of stamina too much and they pretty much get owned by ANY class...guys...suggestions?

is there going to only one class that can tank or will all heavy armor classes be able to? because only one of the classes is called a basic tank and the rest are never talked about tanking. i think itd kinda stink if only one of 12 classes can tank.

These beta videos keep surprising me. This game is what alot of us needed. SB and daoc is old, WoW is carebear-ish, L2 sucked. I think this game is going to get big, time to invest in FUNCOM now :D

A question just popped while watching this video; the PvP, fighting, and leveling all look neat, but what about the economy?

This should be left for the Age of Conan forums, but you(TerrasErronis) seem to have a lot of knowledge about the game.

When I mean economy, I'm meaning gaining tin, copper, silver and gold. Does Age of Conan turn into a second job when it comes to the need for money(grinding)?

Or do the non-group quests pay so well, that grinding becomes an option and not mandatory?

xavier, in PvE there is alot of places where the quest zones are made for one reason money and economy so grinding is coming to this game but since this game isn't very stat oriented gear becomes less useful so instead of quest being object rewarding i would guess cash would pop up very much. (just a opinon)

At this point, it's impossible to judge classes. There's still balancing that will be done and we won't know how classes stand up against each other until everyone learns to play and reaches the level cap. For now, pick one that sounds cool and go with it. ;)

Finally someone that can tell about the game and know something about it. Loved how you showed active shielding and the jumping forwards and backwards. This will obviosly be a game that depends on skill. This is gonna be epic.

I have a question for you: I got confused in another video because I had always naturally assumed the races were against one another (similar to faction vs faction) but in the video I saw, there were different races working together, so I was wondering how the PvP teams work (if that makes sense). Is it almost like a free-for-all?

The ToS and PoM are both supposed to be capable of healing a group while doing damage. The Tempest of Set does damage to boost healing while the Priest of Mitra does healing to boost damage.

not gonna lie to ya man, the shielding thing still confuses me, the whole control press 1 twice or something

how could you get two shields in the center (top) and one on the right or left? that's what im confused about

It's hard to explain but simple enough to use. To move a shield takes two keystrokes. First you press the one you want to move then you select where to move it to. So you have 3 shields, one at position 1 (left), one at position 2 (center, and one at position 3 (right). Press 1 to select the shield on the left, then press 2 to move it to the center. Now you'd have 2 in the center and one on the right. Press 3 to select the right one, and then 2 to move it to the center, giving you 3 centrd

This is pretty much open pvp right ? not just pvp mini games. When you are wandering around the world you can be attacked at anytime right ?

Also can you talk to everyone? like if you kill someone . they can talk smack to ya right ? like in EQ

The PvP weekend was just a couple of minigame style PvP matches. The game itself has PvP servers with open PvP where you can kill anyone and yes, you can talk to them. It's not faction vs faction, it's completely open.

dissapointing beta circumstances, retarded glyding animation INFIGHT...sad cause the game seems to be great, up to now i was willing to give it a try, but whyth do i have to stick to certain HKs. I`m aware of combo functions but in the end I´m playing not on a console...with a damn gamepad...for a PC Game nowadays kinda laughable.

Now the Game have to be extreme Uber to get over that crab...

No, you can move them around anywhere you want. You can put them on an extra hotbar, remove them entirely, shift them over, etc. Fully customizable. Default is 1-2-3.

Yes, you can move any of them around. You can even move them to an extra hotbar that has no key mapping or to an alternate bar that you hold down alt to access. So.. alt-1, alt-2, alt-3, instead. Fully customizable.
