i have two canariesthey lay eggs all the time but never have any little ones could they both be female they both go in the nest togetter

my hen does not go wild in her food and water bowels she is rather neat and she likes her cage clean and if she thinks its dirty which is the next day she will not hush her peeping till she gets what she wants.......oh and one more thing she can sing like a male its so weird shes not as loud but she can let it go. the only thing I have not heard her do is that rolling sound from the male she has picked up sounds from he wild birds around here also. so does anyone else hen do he same?

Did she actually said "teeth"!? Bird do not have teeth, and those mite protectors are poisonous to your BIRD! This woman is a fool and knows NOTHING about canaries!

I just got three new canaries today. When we got them, the bottom of the cage wasnt wet at all from the water and there was no food at the bottom of the cage. So they don't really "Dive" into their water bowl or "throw" around their food. Well, thats just my canaries, i don't know about everyone elses.

Canaries are like poinsetias. They must have the same amount of day and night as the outdoors. If your bird gets light in the morning and then you keep it up to all hours, it will stop singing, moult out of season, & eventually die. If you want your bird active late at night, keep a black cover over the cage until appropriate time, so that its hours of light match the outdoors. Lights cannot go on and off all day and night. Do not expose it to light during its sleep time, even a few minutes

Hmm., my bird got louse and i dont really know what to do.. and she sad that its posible to get a louse killer rigth? i was in the animal shop and they sad that they dont know any thing about that ..! what to do?

i've bought a new small yellow canary since 3 weeks he is maybe 4 months age, but till date he hasnt sing and i canot recognize whether he is male or female , is there away to know his sex

Hi there. Female canary does sing at all. i assume you got the answer already. yours is female and will never sing.

canaries if they are males dont sing until around 5 months old. but females normally dont sing. you can get special food that helps their vocal cords and develope singing
