  • All the discussion, and no one mentions Joe Schermie the original Bass Player!

  • @pappyguitar Joe was an awesome bassist. RIP Joe!

  • Two Dog Night...just not the same without Chuck. What a shame. That they would have the gall to perform the hits featuring his lead vocal-oh, wait; that would be over half of them, right?

  • In 1991, Chuck was told he would have to become an employee of Danny, Corey and the TDN corporation in order to rejoin the group ( for the third time ). He, understandably refused, because they retained the right to fire him at any time, for any reason. He would have been D&C's flunkie, simply put, and he saw no reason to humiliate himself this way. Good for Chuck !

  • Two is better than none, but three would better! C'mon guys, grow up! Chuck got help and cleaned up! You just aren't the same without him, even though are really good. But why be really good when you can be GREAT!

  • Just a fair oldies tribute band now without Chuck Negron, after just seeing Chuck in concert, they really need him more than he will ever need them. So sad, so sad.

  • these guys are so under rated, so many hits, one of my favs.

  • Anybody know who these player are? Still a great job on a classic tune.

  • Still sound great.............

  • and the shit is TOO SLOW !WHERE'S FLOYD !!!

  • I saw them in Orem Utah on Sept 1,2008,and they rocked,I wanted to meet them after the show, but it was so cold, I should have waited, I wanted to meet Cory and Danny, love you.

  • Classic!

  • Kind of like Buck Dharma and Eric Bloom refer to themselves as Two Oyster Cult!

  • Hey Guys, I grew up listening to these guys. Chuck or no Chuck, these guys are still awesome. Enjoy.

  • just isn't the same without Chuck Negron in the band ya know. Also, Mr. Floyd Sneed is missing also. So , too me it just isnt the same, so i would just have to listen to their previously released material of the 70's. It just sounds better that way. No Chuck and Floyd? No 3 Dogz.

  • You are totally CORRECT .

  • @journeylive THAT'S RIGHT !!

  • Thanks NY!

  • Just kinda ironic that the YouTube search engine leads here when you search on "Floyd Sneed Live" - because of the text "without original members..."

    You do the math...

  • Great vid and great song.

  • Yes - The original song lol. The video was shot about three weeks ago...

  • Chuck was dismissed from Three Dog Night several years ago for substance abuse. When he got sober, The Others refused to take him back...leading to the fued that still exists today...

  • OK i understand, This was 24 years ago, right?

  • Three Dog Night "dissed" Chuck? When?

  • Make no doubt about it....Cory and Danny can still hit those notes!!! My wife and I saw 3DN 08-08-2009 at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, CA and were so stoked. Thanks for posting this vid.

  • It never ceases to amaze me how people can overlook or even ignore an excellent rendition of a timeless classic just because an original member or two no longer participate! Anyone who says this band sounds bad simply doesn't know music or has a prejudice that keeps them from being objective. This video sounds great and I really like the steady driving beat that never wavers through the whole thing! Great Post! Thanks Al!!!...Rick

  • I agree with what u said, but they should call themselves 2 dog night.

  • exactly!! 2 dog night is alot better.

  • great song!!!

  • I miss Chuck too, but these guys were pretty good in person. Nice video. :)

  • boy, they said a mouthful here. only they are a two man band now without chuck. sorry, they sound bad without him. something's missing. they dissed chuck and wouldn't let him back in. i can listen to him all day, but won't support three dog night any longer. saw chuck negron at hippiefest in san diego aug 1st. he is iconic. he was the only one i knew from the group anyway. i got fake ID back in 84 to see them at the starry night night club in portland oregon. saw them later at the fair

  • Another classic!
