i believe if shenmue 3 ever made it will be on a new sega console and not on ps3 or xbox 360 the technology of ps3 and xbox is very good for a shenmue 3 but not gonna happen and the reason is that sega want to keep that ace.

Realistically I think that with recent games from the Dreamcast catalogue coming to PSN and Xbox live they should do a Shenmue 1 and 2 HD Remastered collection. Original Japanese voice acting, remove the load times and at 60fps include artbook, soundtrack, behind the scenes interviews on one Blu-Ray disc then and only then Yu Suzuki will I wait another 10 more years for Shenmue 3!

i was only 10 years old when i played shenmue 1 about 13 years old when i played shenmue 2 on the xbox. now im 21. and to be honest i miss playing both of those amazing games. i realy would be happy if the remaster shenmue 1 and 2 to the ps3 or xbox 360.

Sega should re-release(remake) Shenmue 1 & 2 and advertise them A LOT (And add more subquests and mini-games and make it more like Yakuza). Then they can safely release a Shenmue 3.

Love this guy, a great asset to the games industry over the years, and shenmue is my fav gaming series ever, I REALLY hope and have been hoping since the second one on dreamcast for the 3rd. Also he genuinely seems like he wants to make the 3rd one.

@BreathOfTheLion What I couldn't include in the interview (because the translator is messing the audio) is that he actually first asked in English (You mean Shenmue 1 or 2? I say: 1 or 2 or 3! And he laughs and says: It's possible...). So if he asks for some specifications, it must mean something, RIGHT!? (or maybe not...)
