I beat the game, including being in charge of every guild, having all the dragon priest masks and trophied out in about 40 hours.

I would have been with Bobsuicide and said Dark Souls. I finished up Skyrim and am done with it. I finished up Dark Souls 1.5 times before Skyrim came out and have gone back to playing it since I finished. I heart me some darkened souls.

Man people go on about how you can do so much and not play the main story in skyrim, but I've done the main story and all the guilds and stuff in 50 hrs and spent the next 5 looking for stuff to do. I picked Batman Arkham City as my game of the year because I felt it had the whole package. A story that kept me wanting to beat it, side missions that I actually felt interested in instead of obliged to do. Characters that were really well written and well acted, fun gameplay, an amazing crafted world that I wanted to explore. I'm also a huge for of Batman.
