@hybenbabs Islam is the truth because of a very long list of things which I cant put forth over here. It makes sense, very logical there is alot of proof for its teachings, its practical and alot of other things. I would have no problem since we believe them to be People of The Book. Meaning its first or early generations we Muslims like we are and believed in similar teachings but later generations changed parts of their religion. While circumcision is not the only thing that makes muslims clean they also must not eat pork and drink alcohol. ONce a muslim does all these rules they are considered clean from the qafir(non-believers).

Many older men, who have bladder or prostate gland problems, also develop difficulties with their foreskins due to their surgeon's handling, cleaning, and using instruments.

If you had read the Quran, you would know that nowhere does it say to circumcise your kid's penis. It's ahadith which state men (and women?) should be circumcised, a disgusting act.

Ofcourse if it's causing you issues, then you are allowed, because that's for health reasons. Anyway why would god make men with a flaw at birth? The foreskin actually serves a purpose. Foreskin IMO it does have it's functions but as you say, it can function without. I still have the same opinion.
As for me, I don't really have a choice, since my parents had mine done at young age. I wouldn't have done it otherwise, and I'll let my kids make their own decision about it. I guess we have our own views.

Secondly, we don't know if any Prophet got circumcised, the Quran doesn't talk about such a ludicrous thing. Allah made human perfectas is said in the Quran. If you chop of your penis, it's gone forever, it doesn't grow back.

Having unprotected sex still carries the exact same risk of catching disease whether you are circumcised or not. Just because you are circumcised doesnt mean that you are any less likely to catching gonorrhea, herpes, HIV, chlamydia, genital warts or any other infection.
The best way to prevent against these diseases, as ANY medical doctor will tell you is to wear a condom. Circumcision will not save your dick from catching disease when you fuck your mothers pussy.

@zobayer1 and no, you are still wrong. the majority of circumcised men cannot masturbate without some lubricant. im guessing that you are circumcised and are still able to masturbate without any lubrication. lucky you. you are among the minority.

@zobayer1 Your god, allah, is sick to his core. any creator who proposes the circumcision of healthy baby boys or unconsenting men/women is sick.
every singly day, when boys are being circumcised around the world, they are having their basic human rights violated and ripped away from them: the right to their own bodies. the fact that 'qualified' doctors, such as the fool zakir naik, are saying Genital Mutilation is right are indirectly saying that taking away human rights is ok.
