@Frisbieinstein Impressive choice, she's fantastic for her age - but I have yet to watch her playing w/ a real top band. Any suggestions? Also, can Senri swing convincingly in the straight ahead jazz style? Terri Lynne can, and she was a child prodigy too - but even if things (chops) were somewhat equal and I'm not sure they are -, I'd still take Terri Lynne's experience, which can only be earned through life, and it's obvious that Senri's only in the beginning of hers. Peace.

@egyptianminor What I like about Senri is odd times. Nobody does it more naturally, and that's what I like. Not really a swing drummer, more in your face fusion. As for top bands, she's still in junior high school so that's a bit much to expect, but her band is pretty good. Try "Something Like This SENRI's live session". Very good tone, drive, and independence. I also get a big kick out of an anime theme song called GO!GO!MANIAC!.

When does staying in the pocket and not over playing a piece constitute "junior high level of playing" (which I might add puts you around the freshman or sophomore level of high school.) you will not admit to being this but ....anybody who is under age 21 always refers to the age 21...not 32 or 28 but 21...lawl so your reference to junior high means that you have achieved that. its kinda backwards but applies.
