God bless u for putting this on here

  • Jesus or Christus(os) is an adaptation of an earlier Christian Christos named Serapis. He is the depiction of the Greek pharaoh Ptolemy l aka Soter (ca. 283-367 B.C.E.). The native Kemetian(ancient Egyptian) refused to deify him, but compromised on an image called Serapis(ca 350 B.C.E) aka Christus. Serapis from Osiris and Apis the bull. The worshipers were called the bishop of Christ. It is important to know that this is pre-christianity and there was no Jesus at this time

  • @caribbeandiaspora Serapis was a "sacrificial bull" -- literally. This is a little ways off from the comparison to Christ as the lamb. Also as for the part about "bishops of Christ" that comes from Robert Taylor in some of his works called the Diegesis. First this is generally dated around 134 AD. Second there are more quotes from the works (I can't fit here). Finally, there are many problems with the authenticity of this letter. The true writer (Flavius Vopiscus), was a historian around 300 AD

I don't suppose there are any tracks set to heavy metal?

I mean, I'd think it was appropriate, given that Revelations has the Four Horsemen running around with monsters with seven heads and ten horns.

Not to mention the wars, the famines, the plagues, and the pestilences.

    Revelations is pretty hardcore, dude.

God wants to murder the FUCK out of us according the Bible.

  • @wesleychandler

If I wore a crown on my head in Heaven, given me because of my love for Christ and commitment to forwarding the Kingdom of God on earth, would that be unfair? If you were to find out that the crown carries power in Heaven and were to ask how come you didn't get one, you'd probably come to find out that it was because you weren't what you call a Jesus Freak. You fool, we are to be slaves of Christ. Become one yourself and you will be given great reward in Heaven.
