Black Lab Hogan in the Pool

there are variations between labs in different regions ur probably not used to seeing a stocky type that's not from the U.S. there's field bred and show bred and this looks like a good show bred. i guess u could ask the guy about it and stop angering people

I had something pretty similar, although it was an old sandbox shaped like a square castle. Our late black lab Lucky would circle around 2-3 times and then lay down for a moment in the water before letting out a solid breath of air.

It was really too cute, I love it how your dog doesn't seem to get bored even after doing the same thing for 2 minutes or so.

There are two types of labs, British (big boned, thick, show dogs) and American (lean, field trial, hunting dogs) or this is what I have read. Ive had short stocky labs and tall lean ones.

nah labs are completely content with even a pool this large, although i do take my black lab to the beach alot, its really fun but she doesnt go in that deep.

Most labs are good swimmers/divers. usually if your dog has webbed feet, thats a sign that they are exellent swimmers. Check their paws for webbed toes. That means they are great swimmers. But, they may not always like the water so don't force them. Just trying to help ^^ i have a dog and he has webbed feet and he absolutely LOVES diving and swimming in our pool. Very cute video!

It's easy, it is hard for labs to get out of the pool. My lab loves the beach, lakes, and rivers. A pool is tough because there is usually just 1 small area to enter and exit. Try introducing your lab to a better water environment especially with other labs playing in the water.

A Golden retriver is different from a Labrador retriver. They are different breeds and the Lab has more colors (yellow, black and Chocolate....)

You can always tell a true lab because once they get into water they never want to leave. I used to take mine to a lake and she wouldn't leave the water until after I had started walking back to my car and she couldn't see me anymore.
