  • should i buy this game? it looks easy....

  • @xmenfan07 Well, i liked it.

But as a general rule, only buy it if you like the movie.

However, even given that, it is definitely a fun game, definitely worth playing!

  • @buckmana thanks for telling me. it's decided. imma buy this game :)

  • im on chapter 5

  • i seriouslyy need help doin chapter 3 after u have to turn off the candels i dnt get it i been trying for more than an hour som1 please help

    ughh getting fustrated!

  • Unfortunately, I never made it further then that myself.

I ended up in a tiny room with traps falling from the ceiling and monsters everywhere with no room to move around.

The only thing I can suggest is you dodge the enemies and stay against the wall.

The traps can't hit you against the wall, only in the relative middle of the room.

  • @buckmana the boiler is easy all you have to do is move left to right or stay at the back to shoot other monster and move left or right to dodge the air.hope this helps you

  • @alexia601 see this vid it was the end of chapter 3 for me. Then it started chapter 4?

  • What if you DID answer the phone?

  • Well, the central plot point of this movie is that eveyrthing in the house is like a part of Constance's body.

Answering the phone would give away your presence.

But for the intents of this video, you're supposed to imagine what would happen if you did.

    Like Alfred Hitchcock said:

"There's nothing more scary then an unopened door".

  • as I fear this game, but this super fun

  • @ickkck9 is it scary?

  • The bigger they are... the... Harder it is to make them fall.

  • It seems that this Mrs. Nebbercracker is easier than the gba version. The gba version was really hard!!

  • It took me longer to learn the routine for this one then in the gba version. Mind you, I did get further along in the gba version, but had to stop because I couldn't line up a drop to the lower level properly to get a key to continue.

  • Could you atleast call her "Constance"? thats her name, after all.

  • And you are right! It is so hard when I first versed the GBA Mrs. Nebbercracker.

  • do you get gun upgrades just like the game boy?

  • Yes, but they have to be acquired or earned.

I never got that far into the game, so I don't know how it worked.

  • is that mr nubbucrackers wife

  • Yes, that is his wife.

But not in person, it's the dummy used for sewing her dresses.

  • Why Ebryone say mrs nevercraccker? cant u just can say constance? XD

  • So many people have compared this game to RE4, even on wikipedia, and they are right! I love this game it really is a mini re4 game. The film was awesome too! Love this game.

  • I like to call this game: Resident evil 4 for kids.

    This game is pretty hard.

  • the funniest thing about this game is that in the movie the house appears fairly small on the outside and in the game on the inside theres like 30 rooms

  • The dimensionally transcendental House Of Horrors!

30 rooms huh? That sounds like a lot to fit in one small house.

  • In the DS version there's 54 rooms.

  • the ending sounded a little bad

  • Please clarify the statement.

    I don't understand.

  • i heard many people dislike tis game

  • Well, I quite enjoyed it, as far as I was able that is.

I'm not very good at games that don't have free saving (i.e: playstation2), so I gave up shortly after this point in the game.

I think it was a very nasty (and tiny!) room with traps and no place to hide from them!

  • i remember this guy i had a hard time with the button pressing

  • It took me a while to learn "the rhythm".

If you watch closely, there are certain "cues" which indicate when to press the button.

In this case, there is an animation which shows the dummy "charging up" for either the swinging attack or electric shock.

  • i bought this game but i sold it because i got bored of it.

Its a good game just not so great. so the game aint that bad

  • I gave up on PS2 games myself, I got sick of reaching the "impasse point" where I get stuck and no matter what I do, I can't advance the game. In this case, it was Chowder trapped in a tiny room with enemies EVERYWHERE and no place to evade them while I killed them.

  • no i did not give up on ps2 i love ps2 its my favorite game system

  • I didn't give up on the PS2 itself, just the games that you could play on it.

The only reason I bought it in the first place was to play Drakan: Ancients' Gates. And since it's the ONLY PS2 game that I never hit the "impasse point", that game is my sole reason for owning a PS2.

  • Boss setup remind you of anything?

  • Sadly, no.

Could you please explain or clarify?

It may have been something I never saw.

  • this is coraline

  • I'm confused.

Isn't Coraline that new Tim Burton stop animation film based on the book by Neil Gaiman?

P.S. I love Neverwhere, Mirrormask, Coraline, the Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride.

  • the game was so easy with on GC especially with cheats

  • Unfortunately, I never got much further then the level after this.

I can't recall the exact place, but it was a small space with those dropping trap pipes and attack boilers.

With no space to manuver or shoot from high areas, that was when I gave up.

  • This game was so hard on GBA it took me 6 weeks to beat. XO On gba that boss was real hard.Kewl video. :D

  • I beat that boss though it was extremely hard cuz the candles, then the second boss was that carpet which was easy and fun. Thats all I know. Alexdude, do you know how many bosses are in the game including the ones I said?

  • this was the first thing that came to mind in my head so i searched it

  • wen i heard the taaaaaat.... i tought they is sumthing wrong with my computer.nice show

  • Thanks, I'm glad you appreciate the video.

What are you referring to with the "taaaaaaat"?

  • good video but is this gamcube or game or ds

  • Thanks.

This game is for the Playstation2 console, also available in xBox and Gameboy Advance versions.

  • gamecube
