@toffee20 So true! I've been watching all his fights in chronological order, watching about two per day, and I can totally see his fighting going downhill, then uphill again in maybe a string of fights, then down etc. Sometimes at a very slow, almost imperceptible rate that I think would be harder to notice if watching the fight before and the fight after...but watch one of his later fights and then compare to a fight in 86 or 87 and it's a clear difference usually.
Why dont u bring in the US Army while ur at it...also a chopper & tank. That punch WAS after the bell but come on, in the heat of battle it sometimes takes a few seconds to register. Tyson had his punch chambered as the ref intervened, no big deal. Also its not like Norris was defenseless, he was in an exchange...the bell wouldnt have meant a damn thing. Its not like Norris heard the bell & instantly put his hands down, he was still in the heat of the moment too. Shit happens.
@realityIZanILLUSION I'm a Tyson fan (kinda') but I have to admit this was one of his many tricks in the ring- he ALWAYS deliberately hit after the bell. 'Did it his whole career. Norris on the other hand milked it more than he needed to though; after walking back to his corner he all of a sudden cannot stand up? Sheesh.
@tlig not sure what norris made off of this fight, but i can guarantee you this: if it was a winner take all fight, norris's knee wouldn't have hurt that bad............athletes today are "soft" due to their getting paid regardless of the outcome, win or lose.........back in the day, you actually had to win something to get paid
