does anyone know where can i get this masterpiece? ive searched a lot of torrents and still havent found it, and the youtube downloader makes the track awful quality.. i wanna bang it in my car on the loudest possible man but i dont know where to get this BEAUTIFUL MASTERPIECE
@michelleyy13 :) YOU STILL CAN THANKS TO YOUTUBE!! what is stoppping you ??? NOW you know the name of the label, just get in in HQ and off you go....CAR, BEACH, FRIENDS....enjoy freedom....don't care about the ones who listen to today commercial shite.. ..We looked silly dancing to this in woods trippin...but STILL. JUST ENJOYED IT!!
@Mahartinba Oh I know thank you! My birthday is coming up soon and I'm going to throw a rager with just this kind of music. But dancing in the woods trippin' sounds absolutely perfect. :)
Wundervolle Erinnerungen .... Und immer noch läuft mir ein Schauer über den Rücken und ich möchte einfach nur die Arme in die Luft strecken, die Augen schliesen und schreien vor Glück.
Well now at least we know where Tiesto got his inspiration for his track Dallas 4Pm from. Still it's a good other version of the same song. Maybe that's why he put in the sound of a heartbeat ;)
I first heard this track in a liveset back then. I think 1995.. oliver did the live set, the australian and the tasmanian guy djed that evening. It was awesome. Whenever I hear this track I get goosebumps... even after all that time. <3 still in love with it.
Hartseer is OK. The reason I like older trance much more is because it is very inventive: trance wasn't templated back then. Most trance songs nowadays are templates: they all have a relatively boring intro, and always have a very long breakdown before going to the main melody. Old trance brings you into "trance", hence the name. This is because it sounds repetitive, but actually it isn't repetitive at all (hard to explain). It also has acid (yt for tb-303), one of the best instruments ever made
This is a true worry killer ... I adore that controlled distortion... I wish there were more tracks of this kind to set you on floating and cleaning your brain and soul! Cheers from Romania!
Takes me back to parties back at my house after a night we were doing in Bournemouth in 94. My mate Rhona would always play this for me as the sun came through the backdrop over the window, cheers Rhona what ever happened to ya? Crow X
So deep emotions in this beauty...sounds so great still a 94 track though. A good thing that i realise is that M6 is releasing tracks sounding similar to this nowadays :)
@Duco1991 Here are some modern track you should listen to: Airwave-Lighspeed (2008) Arctic Quest-Strings And Guitar (2007) Bart Claessen - Hartseer (Original Mix) (2010) Incolumis-Tsunami Incolumis-One with Sanctuary (2006) Protonica-Nothern Storm (2010) Protonica-Ice Impression (2007) Arctic Quest-Love Is A Bird (Original) (2008) Tiesto - Ten Seconds Before Sunrise (2007) Majai - Phoria (Jorn Van Deynhoven Dub Mix) (2008) Lexwood feat Ferrin & Low-Chimaera (2008) Eleusyn-Gliese (2010) ;D
Lightspeed is nice, just like many songs by Arctic Quest. I just can't compare these songs with the trance songs from the early 90's, which are much better imo. Thanks for the recommendations ;)
@Duco1991 Thanks for listening them. What do you think about Hartseer, I think it's pretty awersome, but there is something that I don't really comprehende: can you explain me exactly why for you the early 90s trance was MUCH better of these productions? What do you feel listening them that made them so better? And, above all, can for you be invencted a new trance style that is better than 90s? Sorry for my insistence, but, despite I love 90s trance, I don't really understand old school guys!
@Duco1991 Maybe I have a distorted view of trance because I listen it since 2007, but I don't think that the reason is this because I've listened oldschool and the only thing that make 90s trance a bit better is more experimentation. But considering single works, a new trance production well done caused in me the same feelings generated by an oldschool track... nothing more trascendental! And to be really honest sometimes I think some 90s works are even overrated... Let me understand!
Like I said: just a matter of taste. I just don't choose many songs above Cygnus X - Superstring (1993), Underworld - Dark Train (1994) and Quench - Dreams (1993) (which is your profile logo, so you'll definitely like it). I guess I don't have much with newer trance. I also listened to newer trance before discovering Superstring and Love Stimulation (Love Mix) by Humate. I never wanted back.
@TheTrancemaster90 For example the first time I have listened The Orange Theme of Cygnus X I said: "Damn, this track is only a very simple melody repeated over and over never changing, and all the oldschoolers that enjoy this!" Now I like it but an Astral Projection track, with various melody, with a development in the track, with various moments (like the tracks i tell you) made it more catchy. Another critic is that in 90s tracks seemed "amatorial", with too raw sounds and 303 abusing.
You're right about that: some songs are maybe a bit overrated, also that Astral Projection tracks have much depth. But I think all those early 90's tracks have more depth than any of the songs made today. Oh yeah, a good track doesn't abuse the 303, it uses it to make an awesome buildup, or to make a tranquil snapshot. That's something I really miss in newer trance.
@Duco1991 Yes, without doubt we can say that in 90s trance there is more depht than in the newer, but the only new trance tracks that I like are productions that have magic, that have depht, infact it's only with a lot of difficulty that I found them. I don't think for ex. that Hartseer has nothing to envy in term of deepness to Dreams of Quench, but sadly it won't sign trance history like dreams did, 'cos in 93 trance was something new! Many oldschool guys are dazzled from this factor!
@TheTrancemaster90 Many oldschool guys are dazzled from this factor in judging new stuff, and sometimes they act as if the more quality of early trance is an absolute dogma! But i imagine that if Strings And Guitars was produced in 94 they now will judge it as a legendary tune :(( I (trance addicte since 2007), can perceive something really special in all the tracks that I tell you, they don't because it isn't oldschool! However I believe that the perfect trance music hasn't already apperared!
That's true. But, like I said before, many people will like the song because of the wrong reasons. But true trance lovers will hear that song isn't very special. I also don't like all of the trance songs made in the early 90's, but I still think there is more interesting stuff than post-2000.
I don't like the early trance for the wrong reasons: because it was new. I like it because no song sounds the same. Not in melody, buildup or instruments. It's the opposite with new trance songs. They all start with the single beats, than some synths to make it sound more interesting, the (very long) breakdown, and finally the main melody. And it's true classic trance is harder to find: many people don't like it and it's drowned between all the newer trance productions.
@tweezerfetish I taped it as well - I think he said "Sometimes I think I could just put that on a loop and play it forever..." :) RIP JP - turned so many people on to connecting to so many music styles
@meinfornix I am 20 now. At least you were there then, all I can do is imagine what it was like. Most people who like "trance" aren't even aware of all that Oliver Lieb did for the genre.
@yakk999 People who listen to new trance have no idea what the old school is. Glad I got into it 12 years ago, and im soon to be 24. New producers should listen to the old school, maybe id start listen to new music again.
Smile - Duderstadt Jewel eyes - Der Myskik [Heartbeat Remix] Solaris City - Fred Baker Vs Greg Nash Love Theme Dusk - Mick Foyle [Bosco Edit] Redrum - Tall 2XLC & Ace de Brain [Club Mix Radio Edit] Torrent - Dave 202 Hearts - LSG Memories Of Love - Paul Miller Words - Paul Van Dyk Respect - Arbonite [Wavetraxx] Lucid- Airbase [Anguilla Project] these ARE my FAVOURITE tunes of THE LAST 3 6 5 D A Y S most come from TRANCE, FM so say hi to '#46' !
