I am sure it will work with any graphics card the problem is sometimes you need to unlock your GPU, and u need to search the codes on google, and then reprogram the software to your GPU.

Anyways install and try it.

AND BE CAREFUL! this program don't put limits on over clocks! which means if u put wrong settings there won't be a driver restart, it will just keep the clocks until your GPU explode.....

@Controlle88 Yes it should also work on 15" but depending on your hardware your over clock can be higher

@DaMapleFilmMaker Make sure you follow every step! try to restart the computer after installation, and make sure you have the latest drivers or versions of the OC software!

I don't know which program are u using nvidia ntune or evga precision? if you are using evga precision only u might need to install ntune also so it will unlock your OC.

@iLuzionsX I am afraid u will not be able to do this over clock, because this OC tutorial is specific for Nvidia GPU. I never tried with and intel hd 3000. Both GPU have almost the same capacity and probably yours would keep up the over clock, the problem is the software which is not made to do over clock in an intel GPU. Thats why that error appears.

boas! bom,eu tou com um problema que desde que o meu mac veio da garantia com uma motherboard nova que o overclock que eu costumava fazer sem nunca ter tido prloblemas(a troca de motherboard foi por outro motivo) agora cada vez que o faço,os jogos congelam,depois fica com a imagem preta i depois volta ao jogo mas pior ainda do que se nem tivesse com o overclock.isto acontece ao acaso nao tem tempo definido...alguem sabe o que pode ser? hey man I tried this, and i have the macbook pro 13" mid 2009. it doesn't seem to work and i used the evga precision app to overclock. it didn't change anything, and it certainly doesn't run mw2 as well as ur computer does and u have the same computer as me so i know its not working for me. i tried using the nvidia tools also, but that makes my computer get the blue screen and crash...help please

@IT1997139 yeah for sure, the hardware configuration of your cpu and ram are not involved in this over clock, only your graphics card, thats what you should pay attention, just try it, nothing bad will happen

i overclocked but then for some reason the fps is always teh same. doesnt increase . I underclock it it still the same. any advice?

@Masterine Maybe you are applying the overclock settings uncorrectly. Only acceotable values will be applied to your hardware. And u should try to install nTune over your nVidia drivers. After install nTune apply the overclock. Don't forget to restart after each instalation. And try to apply the overclock before running any program that require DirectX. @RidderStorm depending on the version of your mac, the type or the year, the BIOS configuration and the GPU/CPU restrictions are changed. So maybe you have a mac that is completely overclock proof. It is very hard to break this anti-overclock rules. If this is your problem you should use RivaTuner, download the latest version, and then search on google for the "codes" of your graphic card. Then add the "codes" the program source so it tries to overclock it. Is kind of hard to this....GooGleit™

@ashooby I have no idea... but, the graphics card is the same so it should keep the same settings. but try to reach this settings slower, gradually increase until u reach them, is the safest way to make oc

what to do:

-make all updates for windows 7

-check firewall definitions on windows and your personal firewall supplier

-install all version of Microsoft Visual C++

-install last version of Windows Installer

-Install all version of Microsoft Net. Framework

-Run apps like Administrator

careful do not overwrite beta installs or demo

@cmister4 No it isn't! U should only apply this settings when you will play! its not about melting, but about GPU life..... overclock take off your gpu life. the more time and higher the overclock the less it will take and perform next time. of corse this only happens in long term use. Besides apple hardware is really good on macbooks.

the memory clock, yes its the ram speed, very sensible oc.

u should try other program.....if doesn't work (I don't know what's the year of your macbook) u may have your graphics card locked agaisnt overclock.

To unlock an Nvidia graphics card, instal the nvidia driver (control panel) and then nTune and activate the overclock waranty ( instal nTune over the normal drivers->click performance on Control panel->click acccept)
