What gets up my nose is when the Greek parents would not let the excellent Albanian students who wanted to carry the Greek Flag on days of importance. These parents are so narrow minded. If Greece could embrace these children and the migrants as a part of Greece, can you imagine what benefit this would be to both sides? But no, we are known for our pigheadedness.
@Discovios Τhey were never excellent. They took 10' only because they could read Greek. And because of that Greek students lossing months in school doing nothing waiting the Albanians learn to read. Also infront of what Albanians do 50 years to the Greeks in Northen Epirus, that the Greeks doing to Albanians in Greece is nothing. So start to think yours behaviur against Greeks and then maybe Greeks think theirs.

@tektamos Yes he can and he should. Im Greek however I am born in Australia and feel Greek and Australian. An example of such a case are the Filipinos of Greece who came in the 80's. Their children speak Greek, feel Greek and are denied Greek Citizenship even though they were born in Greece. What a disgraceful affair! On the other hand, the Australian Government says yes you are Australian and can be proudly Greek too. A win win situation for both countries. Really what is a Greek?
Today's Greece are really remnants of the Byzantine (Eastern Roman Empire). The Vlahoi, Arvanites, Greeks, Frangoi of the Aegean all make today's Greece. My mother is from Crete, my father Mikrasiatis from Marmara and Cannakale region. Can I really say I am more Greek then the Vlahoi and the Arvanites who learnt to speak Greek in the last 100 years? Therefore, like a great ancient once said, to be Greek we must feel it also. Dont let me go on about the 20/20 excellent student
