  • Considering that this was the 1970's, "Gatchaman" was really ahead of its' time as far as storyline & content...and I'm glad I finally got to see it in its' unedited non 7-ZARK-7ed version. I don't think I can ever watch another anime via American editing & dubbing. You're better off settling for the original presentation with English subtitles. Now I'm curious to see "Mach Go! Go! Go!" so as to see how much that might have butchered through "Speed Racer."

  • What most people don't realize is that Gatchaman WAS NEVER meant to be a children's cartoon. With the Japanese film industry never having much of a budget they instead made up for it by creating animated features...thus was born a quality far superior to American animation. Plus can you imagine this being translated into a 1970's live action series? It just wouldn't work & the mechas would be laughable as proven in the Ultraman, Johhny Sokko & Godzilla films.

  • hey for th fan there is a gatchaman 2serie, but i saw the four gatchaman

  • maybe Joe survived, because we don't saw his remains nor body.

  • goo

  • I can't begin to tell you malgos07 how much I''m grateful for upoading these I love these and I am the biggest Joe/Jason fan there is. I have a new respect for Ken /Mark too !!!!!

  • 1:17 Good Riddance!!!!

  • oh if katse had waited a little longer he/she'd still be alive but then it would be like millions of life sentences waiting so maybe it was for the best :)P

  • ep101 or 102 shows berg katse face and his secret which is really weird for a childrens cartoon

  • I always thought the final episode revealed the villain behind the mask

  • And just as Katse is envious of humans, we can see that "Envy" is the main motivating force behind our own dark impulses. Envy is personified by Leader X: a mysterious, dangerous and ever present inner threat. Ken too often experiences Envy, e.g. of people with an easier life, but he always remembers his higher goal and can control it.

Who is winning the "Katse versus Gatchaman" battle inside of you?

Does Envy control you, like Katse or are you able to control your Envy like Gatchaman...
