I'd say that each side has a major focus, GDI was always superior ground forces in terms of firepower and toughness. while NOD was always about speed and stealth and striking hard in the right place.

Scrin seem to be primarily an Aerial Steamroller force. extreme firepower from above, but no pansies on the ground either.

give me around a dozen carriers and I'll lay waste to ANY opponent short of extreme AA

Go nod. Stealth tanks and venoms. Distract the carriers mini ships with some ground units. Then use two squads of 30 stealth tanks each to attack from behind. 1 at a time they will fall and itll take a minute. Also send some venoms in with laser upgrades during the fight. It'll b easy as hell. And you'll survive with hardly any casualties. Then move on to the home base and kick ass. Easy.

well I don't think a KW player can go up against a non-KW player, I recommend you make plans to get KW though, so you won't have to make too many adjustments to the expansion...not that there are a whole lot to make, though.

That's because there's ten guys in a rifle squad. A missile squad only has 2 men. If you want to have any chance against a swarm of stormriders you need one of and or all of the following:

- tons of mutants

- lots of troop carriers carrying missile squads/mutants (these are murder on aircraft)

- GDI missile buggies

- NOD raider buggies

- actual anti-air base defenses

best counter: EMP tech building, if you emp these in the air they all die in the eddect radius ( also can be used for motherships) I've taking out like 30 storm raiders with one emp, then i just sat back and let my mamoths crush his base.

Mastermind/telleport tripods and kill cranes and airfield and or mothership rush. If your GDI?
