  • That thing is awesome. It sounds like a real tank.....badass. What type of engine does it use?

  • It use's parvalux chain drive motors with the real sound of a tiger. check out my panther and you can hear that to

  • Is that a type of engine specifically for this type of use? The motors make the sound of the tiger realistic? Thats pretty cool. How much does something like these type of tanks cost in in US money?

  • No, the electric motors are what you would find on mobility scooters. With out the sound card, the tank would be very quite. Have a look at some of my very first video's of my panther and you will see what i mean. The sound card is recorded from a real tiger, as is all of his other sound cards. With the current ecomony, this kit would cost about $12,000 dollers. But armortek are not makeing another batch of tigers untill at least 2012. Thanks for looking

  • CHEESE and CRACKERS!!! wow thats alot. 8)- I understand the sound now....how does he record live tank sounds like that? Sorry for all the newb questions, but this is all really cool and completely new to me. Thanks for being so helpful and informative. 8) I have pmed u my email addy as you asked.

  • Sorry, forgot to mention that you can get them second hand, but its rare. PM me your email and i will send you links to some of the places that you can get hold of them.

  • @Bamabubba You dumbass its a sound system! The motors they usually use 200-500w 12v motors and their usually quiet in operation, so the sound you are using is most likely the Benedini Sound systems which are generally the best systems to use for dramatic effect and recreating authenticity! AHahhah Im from the U.S and im a dumbass... YOUR WELCOME DUMBASS!! lol

  • Hi Oli. It's all up and running now.(still haven't stuck the tyre on though). I had a blown speaker on the sound, a burnt-out servo on my figure, and some loose bolts on the slide of the blank firer, causing the misfire! I wont be doing W&P this year, my shift covers the whole 5 days! Cheers. Mick

  • Hi Guys. If you are referring to the front wheels missing, thats deliberate. A lot of Tigers in the Russian campaign had their front wheel removed to stop snow freezing to the sprocket. If you mean the rubber tyre on the road wheel, its cos Im too lazy to refit it! But you do see Tigers with tyres missing as well. Cheers. Mick.

  • The man himself! Dont worry mick, it still looks great. We still need to get a video of your tiger running at its peak. Out of interest, are you going to war and peace this year?

  • Hi Oli, nice video but I think Mick's Tiger is missing one of it's road wheels, still runs great though. Thanks Antony

  • Do not worry mate, i was nagging him about it all day. Mick, just in case you do watch this, see, iam not the only one who noticed :-)

  • I thought losing a road wheel was quite common back then =D I personally think that looks even more realistic!
