This was actually recorded in 1982. Wrathchild had'nt even been relesed yet in 1980, it wasent until 1981 on the Killers album that it came around. Di'Anno got fired in 1982 as well.
Well he had a problem with cocaine abuse and heavy drinking so he never wanted to perform so they had to cancel the gigs. So Steve and the band fired him.
I thought Di'Anno was fired in 1981? Cause they released the Maiden Japan album in 1981, and it had the alternative artwork with Eddie holding Paul's head into the air. Maybe that was in 1982, not sure.

I agree as well. Di'Anno has more raw vocals, suited for Maiden. It almost has that punk rock feel, while still maintaining a strong heavy metal sound. A good combination.

This is a really good performance. But i think Dickinson suits Madien alot better and he has a higher range. I love it :)
