i think in DW6 hes seems like a completely different guy he had alot of style with his spear and was definitely more powerfull

how is the combat in this game compared to DW6? does it still use the renbu system? or is it different?

The Renbu is still applied, but instead of building up via attacking, it's built up by augmenting your weapon's levels. Maxed Renbu is attained when the weapon reaches level 10 (max).

Nope, it stays consistent. =)

Weapons are all just regular weapons now (no power, speed, ect), but you can add a certain number of abilities and skills to them at will.

Heheh, it's a pretty decent game. The marriage system and CaW alone keep me coming back for more.

Something I failed to clarify in my last response. Powering up weapons requires both gems and money, and they're relatively easy enough to collect (although Flash may take a while). Augmented weapons can be carried over to a new game as well.

IMO, it isn't. Far too sluggish, plus a rather crappy combo string. I can only hope Koei doesn't carry it over into the next DW game.

Wow that was a great battle. Ma Chao has been my favorite since DW3. I love his old moveset with the Spear. But now he is just not for me. I prefer my second favorite Gan Ning. But man you taught me some good strats. I just got into chaos mode myself.

Yeah... although Ma Chao looks good even with a giant sword, I still found it rather awkward. Don't know why Koei thought it would be a good idea to switch him over from such an awesome weapon. Spears FTW!

Which would be better, normal DW6 or empires? I would think empires, but for some reason im thinking the combat is better in the normal DW6. Im also wondering which game would be better to play with a friend.

IMO, Empires is better... combat has more options and offers more fun overall. As for playing with a friend, I can't say which game is better as I always play solo.

ok nice one but to me seems like a little supernatural (at least my opinion) because i attack  alone at the enemy bases, without losing much hp and i have many kos i hope 7 will let us have our own troops.
