I still can not get over the absolute difference in demeanor, attitude and personality between Rich hall and Otis lee Crenshaw.
He changes completely and when I watch this video I see NOTHING of Otis in Rich. Rich is a bit stiff and serious when he does his standup and laughs alot more at himself when he is Otis.
Not all americans are braindead idiots or braindead w. idiots. This beatiful funny guy is one of the funnist that have ever been. Others? Ok: Mel Brooks (Blazing Saddles) W.C. Fields (Lots of stuff) David Letterman (Intelligent nice guy) Terry Gilliam (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (and mouch more)) The cohan brothers (Oh Brother Where Art Thou (and many more)) best regards
@sciences8 I agree to that! - i was actually joking, like Rich ;o) By the way, have you heard Rich's joke about Bill Gates?
Bill Gates is so rich, that if he put all his money under his maddress, and he then fell out of the bed - it would take hin 18 minutes to hit the floor.
Lol, that's pretty good. I actually don't watch Rich Hall that much, except when he's on QI- but he's always spot on when he comes on the show. I should buy a couple of his CD's/DVD's.
This video has been selected by the channel as one of the best Comedy videos on YouTube and was added to the channel's playlist accordingly. Thanks for sharing.
Then he was a sailor, and a pretty good sailor too... Until he had a crisis of continents and can't sail no more... Then he meets a talking mackrel that talks him into being a better sailor.
@MrNickeh Cocktail, Days of Thunder, Top Gun, Jerry MacGuire, Rain Man and I guess War of the Worlds but he said that one. The weird part is I knew them all straight away and I haven't even seen half the movies on that list.
Tom Cruise should become a standup comedian. He'd be a pretty good standup comedian. Until he has a crisis of confidence, and can't be a standup comedian anymore. Then he'll meet Rich Hall who'll talk him into being a better Standup Comedian!
The two higheest rated comments said it perfectly. This is one of the best crafted jokes in the history of stand-up... Just a crying shame nowhere nearly enough peiople have seen it. 152,690 views, compared to the 200,000,000+ for a video of some baby biting a kids finger. I've been bit on the finger a few times... Wasn't fucking funny!
He was a $cientologist, a pretty "good" $cientologist, until he has a crisis of confidence until he meets a good looking woman (Katey) who gets suckered into his cult and talks him into being ..
The he was a spy ... and he was a pretty good spy ... till he had a crisis of confidence ... till he met Cameron diaz.... who was a pretty good woman ...
In war of the worlds he thinks he's a good father then he has a crisis of confidence until he has a life changing experience and becomes a better father... (pure bullox)
he missed out a few good men. which involves him being a pretty good lawyer who has a crisis of confidence and meets a woman who convinces him to be a better lawyer
@vulturevenom18@vulturevenom18 Matt Groening once said in an interview, that Rich Hall was his inspiration for Moe. This guy used to be a big deal in the eighties.
Considering that Mr. Hall has never had a point in time where he hasn't had a television show or a sold out theater run, I'd say that he's still a "big deal"/
Did you watch the interview when she speaks about her internet site? It's ez-casino(dot)com, she said that she was making money with that technique before being famous...
I wonder how many people in the audience heard the end joke which, to me, was the best part : "till he meets a lovely welsh woman who teaches him a lot of words he's never heard before"
I think it`s Scientologists who hit the dislike button on purpose.

When i was a kid i LOVED Rich Hall from Not Necessarily The News. He was in Cincinnati playing a club when i was 8 or 9.
