I was a student for years in american kenpo, and recently came back to it. I found a place close to my house but they are teaching what they call the "5.0" system I was curious as to what you guys thought of this system, since I have been watching your videos, and you both seem to be very knowledgeable about kenpo.
I like this demo. I think most yellow belts learn the inward block (the way I learned and teach this technique) because they haven't yet learned that all blocks can also be strikes. Also, they are just barely learning the radial nerve (with Raking Mace) and haven't yet really learned about the nerves in the neck. Marriage of gravity is also new, which these guys do a good job of emphasizing. Height is not an issue if you land the front snap kick to the groin—the opponent will double-over.
im one of those new students :) im going for my yellow belt in a couple weeks.

I just passed the yellow belt test in Kenpo! Even that was tough! There's so much to remember.

It seems that their lack of height would affect the technique to a degree.
