Hi Sid. Just wanted to thank you guys for bringing a young punk and his dad together. The 1st time either of us heard you guys was on that tonight show appearance (think it was 'Long came a Viper). Dad was a Mills Brothers guy; I was led Zeppelin. After hearing you guys we had a common bond that lasted till he passed on. Thanks for many memories I might have missed.
Sid Page, you are an excellent fiddle player! Just awesome that you commented. Never saw DH and his HLs in person, but I've heard all your recordings and still have Original Recordings and Where's the Money? Very cool and unique band. Would love to see even more Hot Licks vids here.
OK, kids..I (SId Page)was the violinist with the Hot Licks and we did this in '68 as promo for our first album, 'Original Recordings'.The entire Jukie drama continues to unfold for another couple minutes, ending in gun play (oh, my) and one of us assuming room temperature. Maybe if we click our heels all together three times, Dan will post the entire tragedy. Ready go--
