  • Its very good, but clearly you have too much time on your hands...

You could be spending it playing the latest CoD or finding a cure for the common cold!

  • I would stare at that all day!:)

  • That is a fantastic job! It looks very good. On a side note, in reality claymore mines don't have lasers but if it's in the game then that's cool. I love the detail! Just great. Thanks for posting.

  • Ha, nice little bomb sign. great work;)

  • that is really good sir

  • hello.i am really interested in builing but i do not know how you get the worn look on models could you please reply thank you

  • @MrSquaretriangle There is no 'one fits all' answer to this. There are numerous techniques you can use depending on the requirements, the material and the paint. My advice is to Google for something like 'Model Kit Weathering techniques'. Key word is 'weathering' here. There are great videos you can watch and learn from.

  • @MrSquaretriangle If you have facebook mate go on there and search for Airfix (the group), like it and you can ask anyone who also liked the group about scaled modeling etc. The group is not select to just Airfix but everything so go on and check it out but mind you in relation to your question be specific with a type of weathering. I.e. do you want to achieve a rusty affect, scratched/metallic or muddy etc.

  • wow realy nice you should check out my dioramas

  • Cool! You should do this for Battlefield 3!

  • nice!!! but did you not paint the model beforer decaling?

  • @ModellMeister yeah of course. First painting, then the decals, then weathering

  • u are german right you know how i can tell u sound a bit like arnold schwarzenegger

    :D:D:D:D:D

  • @xman961000 Thanks. Can't remember exactly, but it was around £10 the most. It's a good model, but it mainly served as a base for this diorama. I have even replaced the rotor blades with Aluminium strips in order to bend them into shape

  • @xman961000 Sorry, no can do. I just don't have the time. If you have any specific questions I'm more than happy to explain certain steps

  • Wow! Thats Pretty Cool!

  • bravo all that needs to be said

  • i hate your life...

  • Do you compete whit your models ?

  • @folkrace4life No, I don't. It's just a pastime for me, a hobby.

  • @DerSpielerMabuse shame, you have talant

  • What about the flag? a Domination Flag would have been a great detail.

  • you must have spent time walking around alone in CRASH... as i did in BF2142 but dint complete my diorama ... great work bro

  • good GOD thats amazing 0_0

  • can u make me 1 and sell it to me?plez

  • @skullboi001 sorry buddy, but I got a job already :)

  • omg......... awesome!!!

  • PErfekt model

  • scheiße man bist du gut ;D

  • you are really creative, great job

  • Sehr saubere Arbeit, klasse Erklärung, super Ergebnis! =)

  • "Ready to deploy"

Hm, looking at the helicopter... I don't think so.

  • Bit of a misleading title... should be 'Call of Duty Modern Warfare Scale Model of a Small Part of the Crash Multiplayer Map'

  • haha 1 person plays Halo :D

  • Best scale model ever!

  • @EllisL4D2FTW Thanks buddy, much appreciated

  • @DerSpielerMabuse Np, it's the best model i've seen

  • cool

  • really awesome vid reply and i will subscribe

  • you camper! hah just kidding excellent work!!

  • Where do you get the aluminum?

  • @TheRol3 supermarket lol

  • @TheRol3 Supermarket: Not too far from the truth. It was actually from a Chinese Takeaway menu (Number 43 if I remember correctly). Btw, it's not in the video, but I removed the plastic rotor blades and replaced them with Aluminium strips (see 3:06). That way I was able to bend them in any direction, just like in the game.

  • @DerSpielerMabuse Another alternative perhaps is to cut aluminium strips from softdrinks or beer cans.

  • OMG that is soo good great job

  • Thats ridiculous man.

Props to you, I could see you making some serious money if you chose to sell these.

  • I don't know what's being said in Schwarzspeak up there but this shit is awesome.

  • Really nice video!

  • WOW

  • very good

  • I can see you take pride in your work. It looks very nice and you even went the extra mile to add a claymore where it actually would be in-game. Nice attention to detail.

  • perfekt gebaut man!! natürlch könntest du auch die map AMBUSH bauen ;)

  • That is EPIC!

  • map damn sure reminds me of the chopper crash in black hawk down

  • you are a legend in the model world nice job i want one lol you rock! oh and cod mw is a sweet game

  • you are a legend in the model world nice job i want one lol you rock!

  • awsome dude that was sick make the crashed ac 130 in mw2

  • :O good job on that wooka wooka mate :)

  • I love your accent. :3c

  • you have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh spareeeeeeeeeeeee timeeeeeeee mate.....anyways...BRILLIANT JOB there mate!! bloody hell...Iv'e never been this baffled since Ghost died in MW2...

  • Epic!

  • GREAT JOB XD

  • You didn't need to paint it?

  • @Maxobillion Not sure what you mean by that. Well the whole model needed painting, see for example 1:10. The copter came in grey plastic, so all exterior and interior needed some paint. I didn't mention that in the video, since painting is standard modelling practise and I wanted to concentrate on the more unusual aspects of this diorama

  • @DerSpielerMabuse That explains it. I thought it looked a little too good to be left unpainted.

  • @Maxobillion

    you colour-blind by any chance?

but to the poster, words can not be said to describe the amazing-nes (for lack of a better word) of your build.

  • Epic.

  • man that is the best call of duty figure set i have seen good job making it

  • this must be the most awesome diorama that has ever been maid i love it :D

  • Dude you have insane talent! That is amazing the details are amazing and the bomb sign makes it even cooler!

  • @IxurbansniperxI Thanks buddy, much appreciated

  • @royorbitol How do you know? Since I lost my job as Governor I have to fill in the spare time somehow.

  • You shound consider making the whole map as your best work of art yet... That would be awsome!

  • JUNGE! DAS WAR SO GEIL EH!

  • Ahahaha VERY NICE! That is so good bro.

  • that is an epic model and the detail is instance that is a really god pice of work well done man

  • Wow this is so cool, really great job!

  • That is fantastic!!!! CAN YOU PLEASE COPY THE AFGHAN LEVEL OF MW2 WITH THE CRASHED AC130 ?? ?

  • @LegendOfJomtein I thought about that to be honest. I wish I had enough time for all the potential projects out there :)

  • @DerSpielerMabuse Will you make a video if you do that? Plus, the AC130 on Afghan level has digital camoflage. Can you make a video showing how to do it? Cause i really struggle trying to do digital camoflage. I bought some Chinese PLA models, and i had to make digi camo, it was so hard and i messed up!

  • @LegendOfJomtein C-130 Hercules :)

  • nice model man

  • really great good job man :D

  • This is absolutely fantastic. If you want a bigger project, please start building the whole map around it! That would be something to watch.

    Incredible work!

  • @habbitatares thanks buddy ;)

  • sehr gut! es ist ein gutes modell. es tut mir leid, mein deutsch ist nicht sehr gut denn ich bin ein amerikaner und ich kenne nur ein bischen deutsch.

  • @svinya4 Hey Many Thanks. Great for for writing in German. It's not about being perfect but about trying to communicate in a different language. Well done, sehr gut ;)

  • Man awesome detail on the heli, 2 thumbs up.

  • @csneon2000 two thumbs up? are you crazy its exactly in the game if you havent played it! this mans creation deserves atleast 50 stars out of 5!

  • Comment removed

  • I don't normally leave feedback on videos, but after watching this just had to. The model is fantastic.

    Das ist sehr gut!

  • @Pauluswales Thanks, I very much appreciate your comment. Vielen Dank :)

  • that is amazing i love it and thats for the tip on that technique

  • OMG THATS AMAZING

  • @AngryCat76 Thanks ;)

  • This is amazingly excellent! Such skill and (must be) patience! Just ordered a Harrier GR3 Airfix kit - my first ever!

  • @IanPlusDrums Hope you are doing ok with the Airfix kit.

Airfix is my favourite brand, but more for nostalgic reasons. The older kits are quite difficult to build due to their age. But they are starting now to deliver newer kits with fresh mouldings.

If you start with this hobby, I would rather go with kits from Tamiya, Italeri, Revell (make sure you get one of the new kits as well) and Trumpeter. You can build most of them straight from the box, without much gap filling and sanding. Enjoy ;)

  • @DerSpielerMabuse Thanks for the advice. I just started my build today - it was one of the kits that came with the glue, paint and brushes. The paint doesn't seem to brush on that well, so I've done a thin coat (seems 'watery') and i'll apply a few more until I get a deep colour. Fingers Crossed! Might even post my own video once finished...well...that's if I don't lose my patience with it first!

  • That's a win if I've ever seen one

  • that is so cool

  • This is one of the best dioramas I have seen on youtube great work with the model and build.

  • @MisplacedTexan4 Thanks :)

  • @DerSpielerMabuse PS:i subscribed

  • @Eshayzbra96 Cheers mate, much appreciated ;)

  • Nice, ima try and make one of mw2 afghan but idk if i wana build it with a 1:72 scale ac130 it's to big!!!!

  • Beautiful Work! Amazing details!

  • Nice work, I would kill to be as good as you at scratch making models and painting XD

  • @Maximillion115 Thank you very much. Believe me, there are much better builders out there, I don't even use and Airbrush ;)

It just takes a bit of time and patience.

  • @DerSpielerMabuse that is AWESOME looks exactly like in the game and i loved the claymore and the "bomb" arrow great work

  • SWEET LOOKS JUST LIKE THE BIRD IN COD

  • You deserve a price..

  • epic...

  • it was awesome

  • hi, im very impressed, may try this myself!

Can i ask how you made the acurate cockpit window cracks?

Also where can I buy a plaster base like you used?

    Cheers :)

  • @MrJamLA

    Thanks :)

Window CracksI have used a small drill, 1mm, to drill holes into the plastic (for creating big holes, you can drill several small holes, side by side) Then I have just used the same drill as chipping tool and basically chipped the edges away. You break off the plastic. For the scratches, again the same drill, you scratch them into the clear plastic. It's a bit hard to describe.

For the plaster it's ordinary Plaster of Paris from the DIY shop. Nothing special

  • Hey I want to make a Claymore. how do I go by making one? What scrap material did you use?

  • @Devi1DogCota

Just check the picture on 3:15. It's al scrap material.

The claymore body is just a piece of rectangular plastic bend into the typical Claymore shape.

The 'laser beams' and the legs of the claymore are made from stretched sprue (for the technique see youtube vid pw0fv6Ot7eQ). The rest is colour and glue.

    Enjoy.

  • psp does everthing

  • Coooooool

  • bomb

  • Your one Badass Artist.

  • this is just an EPIC WIN ! nj !

  • really nice job man

  • why not

  • nice

  • (>'_')>o this cookie is for you...you most definately deserve it

  • That is AMAZING! I so wish I could do that! I actually think I might try it! The attention to detail is remarkable. May I ask how long it took you to do this?

  • @cookandmilkies : Thanks :) My advice try something more out of the box first. I for example build an Cobra Helicopter first but right according to the model in Battlefield 2. There was not much conversion and scratch building needed.

I have not logged the hours for this, but in total I would think it took about 40-60 hours max. I worked on it for about 4 weeks during the weekends and after work.

  • This is awesome. You insipired me to make a diorama from one of the levels now. You do great work also.

  • More work went into this model than all of MW2

  • AWESOME DUDE
