you heat it up so it's not as sticky and so it mixes properly. Because the honey is so sticky heating it up it makes it easy to mix

So I washes it out with baby shampoo. I also left some hair conditioner on my hair while I showered. My hair feels so much better now. I should've tried longer to wash out all the oil because I can still feel some places a little too oily. Im going to definitely do this again next week

my hair gets very oily at the roots in summer and autumn so i have to wash my hair like 3 times a week...so i applied all this on my hair ,not the roots and i did a little trick... i washed only the roots at the first time and for the sec time i washed all my hair :) now my hair is so soft and hopefully the roots won't get oily too soon :)

If your hair is damaged this would be something great to use! If your hair is oily on the other hand, not a good idea, it'll be even more oily.

@GJordanG It's perfectly fine to use with oily hair as long as you wash it all out. If you're having problems getting it all out, mix a spoonful of baking soda with your shampoo. The baking soda is really great for that and dandruff.

I'm gonna do this now as my hair is white blonde and it really isn't loving how I get it that way. I use honey on my skin as it's amazing for moisturising, clearing spots and even scarring - so using it on hair as well makes sense.

ive done this before, and i did it to all my hair and it worked REALLY good. i also used 2tbs of honey instead of 1 1/2 for extra moisture cause my hair was really crappy, and it make it awsome afterwards. it wont hurt your hair to do all of it, some people dont cause they say that olive oil makes the scalp feel greasy but my hair was so dry it didnt do that.
