If we can show them as they are and people are downloading them into public school and students asking questions about them... we made our point. This is just one of many strange ostrich encounters we had while living in Botswana. This time he only tried to outrun us, but another time an ostrich ran up into our car as we drove over 100kmp--horrifying to watch him rebound off the door and roll violently to a stop. Then, he shook himself off and limped away! What a strange bird!
