@nudeadnation Nice Job dude. I know alot of Trivium songs on bass as well. This is one of my favs from Paolo. It has a good challenge for alot of bass players with the finger spreads and speed. I see your wearing a Metallica shirt too!! makes some vids with Metallica covers and stuff. I love playing Cliff Burton's riffs because they are so raw and they really do stick out from the guitar.

As mentioned before, your timing needs work. Try playing along to a metronome or a slower song, it'll help.

Gotta say though, props for taking on a song like this. It's a real tough one.
