@ArtistBlade1972 Yea I know bituminous is better for forging....If it wouldn't smoke, I would go for it right now but I'm in a residential area...so I don't want to bother neighbors with that. I learned blacksmithing with bituminous and I love the way it works but I'm using anthracite for ecological reasons too.

Why do you use anthracite? Bituminous has has a good bit more heat energy...
