  • Ummm..! Should have got Englishman Al Millyard to do this for you, look at his work and you'll know why...! then again, he might not of been very old when your contraption was made ? man it's ugly...but scary....

  • Anybody have any video of Maico's infamous 760 2-stroke single?

  • I am sorry to say. But Mr. McCabe passed away today 12/1/09. He was a good friend and passionate about his Maico's!!! He will be missed by many!

  • thats very sad =(

  • wind up

  • I`am asking , who should ride this when it works ? 30 years ago i owned a 3cilynder 2 stroke ( Kawasaki 750 H2) and actually my 490 makes a lot of fun with power enough .But it`s a great idea and i love the interview !

  • Just came back from Vintage Motorcycle Days. Mr. McCabe has made significant progress on the bike. It is ready to run, but so far he has not come up with a starter powerful enough to turn it over fast enough to fire it up. Jim is also working on a two-stroke, big-bore single - something in the range of 900+ cc.

  • when do you plan on finishing this prodject Jim . it appears you have the hardest parts done

  • Is this a joke?

  • No, check out off-road magazine, they did an article on it.

  • Got any pictures of the bike anywhere?

  • Hello Jim,

Nice setup reminds me of a BMW street bike with the engines sticking out.
