Might look that way because of the camera angle. You can't see it but the bow /stem is submerged.

Aerycks, The boat draws about 15", and has a gripe and long keel. In shallow water the rudder doesn't have to kick up so you still have steerage. Do a search for "18-foot modified sharpie skiff" to see the profile. Cheers

WOW! What is the draft on that boat? It looked as though there were spots where the water couldn't have been more than a foot deep at most.
