WHOA!! I think I just thunk me a revelation like in the bible (only with better graphics)! I think the bunny is an easter egg, or rather, the source of one. In Ocarina in Time, in the market, there's someone running around and around quickly all over the place who says, "I'm late! I'm late! I'm late for a very important date!"

It's not 100% definitely an intentional easter egg, but the circumstances sound way too similar to me to be coincidental.
