Would just like to echo your sentiments Rosie. I lost my best friend and my hero when our Dad dIed and we all lost our rock. An empty space that can never be filled no matter how much time passes.I am sure that Dad is walking the beach at Carrickfin while Charlie is doing a painting of him !! God rest them both. They will live in our hearts forever.

Err, Yeah! There's a whole massive tourist industry devoted to welcoming the prodigal children back, (and others, even English, well some English!) Do yourself a favour and don't stick to the tourist trail too much.

Unlike tales I have heard from American tourists in other European countries, we were treated very well by all the people we met in Ireland (both the Republic & N. Ireland) in Oct 07. Beautiful land, beautiful people.
