There is a christian song by Donnie McClurkins that says "We Fall Down But We Get Up ". Thank God , Dennis got back up and deciding to live. What a disgrace that Rodman is inducted into the HOF. Bernard King, Mel Daniels, Sidney Moncrief, Roger Brown, and so many more deserving. I guess Buck Williams should have Kicked a Camera man, head butted a referee and dyed his hair Pink and Green and he would be in also.

Dennis Rodman, whether you hate him, love him, have no idea what to think about him, was an individual. At the end of the day he was himself and flamboyant, emotional but he was and still is unique. We've all had our share of screw ups, and he has had his publicized to the world. Just as maturity comes with experience, maturity comes from seeing priorities clearly in life. Dennis seems to have made that distinction, a uniquely talented basketball player and hopefully an even better individual.

He deserves it. The man knew what he had to do on the court. He could rebound like no other. He is probably the best rebounder the game has ever seen. His body had no boundries. I remember seeing him dive 4 rows up into the stands for a ball. Great player for sure !

Rodman is not only one of the best defensive players and rebounders in the game, but the guy's basketball IQ was so high, he was so smart playing the game (maybe not so much getting all the technicals) but if you watch the old chicago bulls games with MJ and Scottie, the guy brought all the intangibles, something that was needed.

Dennis' average of 18.7 rebs/gm for a season, at 6'7" tall and in the modern era, is way more impressive than Wilt averaging 25 rebs/gm against a bunch of little white guys

Bill Russel played in a league at the time with pro players who are not even half as good as players from the 80s and 90s. The players from the 80s and 90s are way way better than the ones before them and better than the players today. When Russell played you had a bunch of white amateurs and sub par athletes (ABA). Dennis played against Malone, Kareem, Jordan, Magic, Bird, Barkley, Oneal, Ewing, Hakeem, etc
