Quadriplegic transfers from wheelchair into minivan

Thanks for posting this video. I also get around in a wheelchair and bought a new car that will be my wife's primary car, but we are setting it up for me to drive. I just used your video to figure out how to transfer into it. I was worried I might need a sliding board and assistance, but now I can get in by myself. Very helpful video.

I'm a c7 and Im getting a car cuz I'm 18 and I Have a little bit of function on my hands and I'm wondering if it's possible to break up the wheelchair and put it in the back seat like paras do it?

I have to thank you for my freedom. I was able to go from my big van to a mini van which is a 5 door loke yours. It isn't modified in anyway. Now I can transfer in and out quickly to drive. I'm still working in getting my chair in w/o assist but ny chair's a bit bigger as well as is my butt. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!You are a great instructor!!!

Is this van really a regular one. It looks very low floor. I am not sure if I can do this. I use a toyota camry which i am finding too strenous to dismante my chair to get it in and out all the time.

nice job geting into the van thats the first time i have ever seen another quad get his chair into 1. i am c6-7 complete, an i drive a hyundia tibburon if your a quad or para an want to drive look into suregrip hand controls,

I am also a C6 C7 complete injure. I am lucky I have full biceps full triceps, full chest muscles, shoulder muscles in and upper back. Year video gives me great hope. And wonder if there's a way I can contact you make my transfers better by talking to you.

Yes, Alan has some movement in his fingers. In the video he explains that he has "pretty good biceps and triceps" in one arm, and "pretty good biceps and limited triceps" in the other arm.
