Regardless what the issue, let the individual decide. The prison population has doubled from 1.2million to 2.5 million in 10 years. why because of bulshit laws and regulations. All good except universal health care. Giving the government monopoly control over what everyone can and cannot do to treat their health would be bad enough. But it also implies that they get a blank check and yet another excuse to take our money away from us. Once they've taken the maximum money they can the minimum will go toward actual services. Freedom for all involved is a much better option. Freedom for doctors, patients, and the ones asked to pay.

The US government is already largely in health care. Why do you think its so expensive? Before they started taking tax payers money to "help" the system worked quiet well and there was enough money for charities to help the rest. A universal health care system just runs up the costs massively and creates an ever increasing black hole where money just disappears. The UK government has doubled the money they pay inot theirs the past 10 years yet has shut hospitals down. Its not transparent.
